The standard is either 5400 or 7200. But these are slightly faster @ 5900rpm.

I have 2 of the 1.5TB drives & they are pretty fast.

£10 surcharge for Northern Ireland. I think not, when Amazon do it for free. Shame on you Ebuyer and you lose yet another sale.

Ebuyer do a surcharge for places in Scotland too. Not even the highlands and orkney, but Aberdeen!

Scan we selling 2TB drives for £53 earlier in the week. Still hot though!

Click Click Click! That's the sound of your Seagate dying :p. I know every HD manufacturer has bad reviews / 'horror stories' about failing drives but the failure rate of these 2TB Seagates seems to be abnormally high. 7 of the 10 we had at work failed in under a year (ordered at different times from different shops) and 1 of the 3 remaining ones sounds like it's going to fail soon.

I wonder if either this or the F4 are fast enough to load samples from or record/render hd video to..

Yep me too, so they've lost a lot of sales.

Never had a problem with Scan's freebie delivery .....

Ordered my first item from SCAN for long time this week, perfect, free next day delivery, DPD arrived exactly on time they specified! Very impressed.

Will see if their poor RMA customer services have improved!

In all the years of building PC's the only ever drives I've had fail are Seagate.

I've have 4 die in total.

No wonder they've now had to buy up Samsungs HDD business

AVOID SCAN! You will regret ever using them. Ebuyer customer service is pretty good and easy to use. SCAN are cowboys and you're on your own!
