Is this USB powered?

Also, does anyone know if this is FAT32 or NTFS as I'm looking for an external hard drive for my PS3

Yeah its USB powered.

Comes as NTFS, but I reformatted mine to FAT32 for exactly the same reason... once you have done that it works fine with the PS3.

If you pay £4 more for the postage with ebuyer it gets you the dock and the case worth £20 as well - http://www.ebuyer.com/product/149194

Note the warranty will be voided if you do that, for the unit that is.

Thats cheaper : Toshiba drive :http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/307756/toshiba-mini-320gb-mini-portable-ex/

Or Seagate: http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/307447/iomega-320gb-prestige-2-5-portable-

Both £53.82

"This pocket drive contains a Seagate Momentus 320GB 5400RPM ST9320329AS 2.5" hard drive. Comes with a USB cable with an extra connector for a boost in power, and the drive has a 5volt DC input (power supply not included)."

Just format to FAT32.

Open the unit, the hard drive will still have warranty but the unit as a whole likely will not.

Does anyone know if the PC World price match applies to items purchased from PC World that fall in price within 7 days? I bought two of there at £68.xx each earlier this week.

On their site it says.. If you find a lower price for the same product and offer, we'll reduce our price by 110% of the difference – even up to 7 days after purchase!

Thanks, I've been toying with which portable drive to buy over Christmas, I plan to sell the dock/case on eBay for about £18, so this is cheap! Cheers!

Got mine today, nice looking drive, doesnt have any screws in the case so dont know how easy it would be to fit another 2.5" hard drive in the caddy in the future :S Docking station and case are a nice have although wouldnt have wanted to pay £18 for them, tbh.

I went into PC World today and see this thought it looked really smart, I could'nt belive how small it was.
