aint this pretty much standard price for 500gb portable drives these days.

these r shocking, i bought 1 and took it bk cos it started clicking withing 2 weeks, replaced it and it started doing the same thing again within 2 weeks, pain in the ass havin to transfer everything back and forth from drive to drive and all bcos its poorly made

Can't comment on quality of the drive.Just thought it wasn't a bad price for a high street store.

i have had one of these for at least 5 months now, works fine i get 20mb a sec from my nas on gigabit network

Anyone know if this is a standard drive inside or one of those soldered on USB jobbies?

Took a chance and it's a standard 2.5" SATA. Just formatting it now in my PS3...
