This is a 2.5inch drive which is USB powered and wallet sized, for the same money you can get 1tb but it is 3.5inches and requires external power supply and the size of a hardback book and a power supply on top.

The two are not comparable products.

Pixmania is a French operated company and therefore not subject to UK Consumer Laws and there are plenty of nightmare stories with this company if you look online.

1TB is only £33 more at Amazon; but the 1TB drives are bulkier.

Pixmania, nightmare. Ordered a Western Digital TV Live media player from them, chose their budget delivery which can take up to 2 weeks to arrive. Took 2 weeks to arrive. 2 WEEKS!!! Plus their customer services are almost a comedy act.

Trust me, pay the extra £4 and get it within a couple of days for nowt.

BS...

I think this is the desktop version, aka you have to plug it into the mains.

This one appears to be slightly longer and slightly thinner than the more expensive Freeagent GO drives which fit the Freeagent Theater+ Media player. Has anyone tried using one of these with the Theater+ ?

Ahhh, 2.5''.

Thanks khaichee.

I've got a powered hard drive into my Wii now, and the usb powered one that needed two connections didn't work, so I wondered if the one connection ones were different.
