Are you some kind of soothsayer? If not then at least supply some hard evidence of why you think this.
Are unicorns are also coming down in price in a few weeks...

With over 7 years here surely you've seen the trends in prices. A disaster strikes, the factories shut down, stock dries up, costs soar. Months later the factories start production again, prices settle down, stock builds up, prices start to fall.
Georgecat stating 1-2 weeks is possibly optimistic but supply chains at the retailers work with stock ordered months ago so they know whats due in. So prices being cut now are a sign of things to come.

I think thats been said on every HDD deal so far, I've been holding out for this "drop" for months now, still waiting and Im down to less than 300gb free space, might have to just jump in, you have to ask yourself, why would they want to drop prices when they can get away with ripping us off?!?! Think petrol/gas/electricity, all go up when the price of oil goes up, but they NEVER reduce them when it slumps!! :(

You just seem very sure of that prices are falling - I hope they are - I guess we'll see.
This is similar to petrol prices - they should come back down to what they were prior to, say, an OPEC 'shortage' or similar - they don't. People just accept the higher price.
Or like waiting for energy companies to react to bulk fuel prices - they seldom/never return to what they once were even although the wholesale price falls. The higher prices become the norm.
But that's just be being a grumpy barsteward!
