Plug n?lay ?o software to install. Simply drag-and-drop to save files.
Built-in power management ensures energy efficient operation

Free Delivery if you spend over £50 at the moment so add something else and dont pay for delivery or collect from store and dont forget Quidco

Any comments welcome as want to know if people have used this one before i order which one should i order?

Edited: This is also instore as seen it this morning it does run on mains power.

This is mains powered though compared to the Iomega. taken from the Seagate datasheet:

Setup is straight forward, simply plug in the included power supply and USB cable and you are ready to go. It
is automatically recognized by Windows®, so there is no software to install and nothing to configure. Saving
files is easy too, just drag-and-drop.

It says its not mains powered on the tesco website. Says USB Powered

"Plug n’ play — no software to install. Simply drag-and-drop to save files. USB powered"

Does that mean the tesco site is wrong? Could you post a link to where u found that the tesco site is wrong please?

I've never seen a USB powered 3.5" model due to the amount of current they will be draw so I suspect something is wrong with the listings.

Edit: Just seen this in store and it is mains power so their website is wrong.

Still great price tho

i paid £49.99 for it at PC world for a friend who needed one, it is a desktop one with a power block

just bought one of these today at TESCO . . . . its mains powered - very good price, and its a great product (so far) - Thinking of buying another couple (spread my data - eggs in one basket etc etc)
