Why??

This isn't a good price £ for gb, unless you're short for cash and can't afford a bigger 500gb for £43 or 1tb for £77.

Got this last time it was at this sort of price and its a great drive for the Wii and i have a second partition i use on my satellite box, works well.
#5
This makes look thumb drives look very expensive!

Good price for what it is.... but I agree that it's still not a good £/GB ratio.

I'm sure I got this last week for £29.99?
#9
Why would this be considered a good buy when you can get a 1tb for less than £50?
#10
Good USB powered drive for £30... 1TB normally mega bulky and you need 240v (Not so hot)

For the size and convenience, portable HDs like this are superb.

I've got an Iomega and Western Digital, and they're quiet, cool, reliable, not to mention the fact that they don't need mains power.

ryan7 please post where i can get a 1tb USB powered drive for under 50 quid!.

its like posting a deal for a Porsche 911 and responding with but i can buy a VW beetle for less!.

PS showing as 34.99 for me, those codes for 2 quid off look to be for specific items, or do they work for everything?

Yes there is a difference thats why they asked for a USB powered HD not a desktop one that needs a power supply. It helps if you read the post/comments correctly!

This looks a great price for a USB POWERED external drive to be honest! Yes - if you get one with 240v power supply you can get better £/GB but these are a lot more portable.
