You could get a 1TB for £69 delivered at tesco so dis aint really hot.
I suppose if you look at it that way.

But i look at the drive that i am buying id rather pay that little bit more and get something that would last a long time.

Plus you get 5yr warranty. i replace my hardrive every year even when its not broken i back up my stuff and get it RMA'ed yearly. just a safety net.

A large proportion of the Iomega tesco ones have the botched firmware remember! Avoid those I say, it's alot of potential data to lose. I still think this is a good deal for this particular make/model/size external HD. Not eyepopping or anything, but still a solid deal compared to prices elsewhere ;-)
