Great little portable HDD with great reviews and a 5 year warranty!!
Not quite as good as this deal http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/378163/seagate-free-agent-go-320gb-portabl/ but the best I can find and includes express delivery! This price is for the Black version but the silver is only £1 more. And if you only want the 250GB version it works out at £47.99

And I forgot to mention Quidco!! 6.5%

Yeah I almost went for that drive but it doesnt have the best reviews and from what i have read the build quality isnt as good as this seagate!! Im sure I remember something about a dodgy USB socket! And you dont get a 5 year warranty (I think) lol. So I spent the extra tenner

Hahaha what would make you think I worked for Cdiscount?!!!! :? Some people are way to paranoid! And even if I did whats the problem?! I missed out on the tesco deal and after searching for a while found this to be the best price!! Its a very good drive and alot better than the iomega drive for only a tenner more! No brainer for me! So I really dont understand why the cold votes???? If someone can point me in the direction of a cheaper deal then fair enough, if not why is it cold?!

Cold votes cos its 25% more expensive than the other one maybe?

A 5 year warranty is useless on these drives. If it breaks they just give you a new one, they don't recover your data.

Well personally i always back up my data to at least 3 different sources so if it breaks in 4 years and 11 months I will happily except a free replacement!!! :-D And if you mean 25% more than the Iomega drive then you cant compare because this is a better drive. Well at least from all the reviews I have read! And you cant compare it to the original tesco thread because that is expired. So this is currently the best price for this exact product so surely it should be HOT?! Also just wanna say ive received this drive and it looks great is well built and im certainly not complaining with the 5 year warranty :whistling:

Totally illogical!

I was considering this for the 5 year warranty, but ended getting the cheaper Iomega 320GB from Tesco. If only the other colours were the same price I would of gone for the Seagate.

The Iomega hard drive model is ST932043 5AS, if it's the same as that fitted in the Seagate enclosure. And formatted to 298GB.
