Scan is selling off this highly efficiency PC power supply (probably because Seasonic is getting out of the market of small PSUs). It is a daily special, so you have to go through the today only page to get this price.

If you add a few filler items and qualify for free shipping from 25 pounds net (not sure what the current conditions are), you can get it even cheaper.

Superb price for a high quality PSU.

Scorching, £24 with free delivery! Worth buying as a back up for some people. Little underated for my system unfortunately!

Why aren't I being offered free delivery? I've had it before now. If I just go over £20 + VAT, then I get free delivery, but that's new. Does everybody get free del over £20?

You have to spend over £20 ex. vat (£24 inc. vat).

Thanks - can't understand why this isn't much hotter. I think the title is putting people off, as I've just paid £27 for this PSU plus some batteries and 25 CDs. I know it says £25 in the second post, but not everyone reads that far. Can everyone get free del or only those with AV membership?

mumbojumbo
I bought this about a month ago for a HTPC. It's a little noisy tbh.

Seems to be rated as quiet PSU in this review:

I can't hear my Corsair VX450 at all which is rated for the same noise.

Expired.

For today yes. But the sales tend to rotate, so I am sure it will be back as long as there is stock.

And I guess power supplies are just not very exciting, especially efficient ones. I for one am looking forward to mine.

And it is, but a lot more expensive. :-(
