Identical in physical size to todays standard SD card, the SDHC cards are designed to comply with SD Specification Version 2.00 and are only recognized by SDHC host devices. They can be used as full-size SDHC cards when used with an adapter. To ensure compatibility, look for the SDHC or SDHC logo on host devices (e.g. phones, PDAs, and cameras).

Please note: You may receive a card that differs from the image shown: they may have no sticker and be 'bulk' packed (no horrible plastic packaging!) but they will come with a protective jewel case and are 100% Toshiba guaranteed!

Features

Compliant with the SD Specification Version 2.00
Versatile when combined with the adapter, can be used as a full-size SDHC card
Compatible with microSDHC host devices; not compatible with standard microSD-enabled device/readers
File Format FAT 32

Capacity: 16GB
Dimensions: 11mm x 15mm x 1mm
Operating temperatures: -13°F to 185°F (-25°C to 85°C)

Staring to get confused with all this - would this Class 2 be sufficient to store and watch films off and store and play mp3s in a Creative Zen player ie for this use would class 2 not make much difference, or is it best to go for the higher class?
Any help appreciated.

The Zen takes SHDC and a class 2 8gb work, class 6 16gb works, so a 16GB class 2 will work aswell.

The class system refers more to writing than reading speeds so for the Zen, it will be good for storing films and mp3s.

Class 2 means that it writes at more than 2 Mbytes/s so expect to fill up 16GB in two hours. That's why Class 2 is better suited for low capacity memory like 2GB!

Thanks to all - I know the Zen accepts sdhc, it was just which Class of card to choose.
probably going to go for a Class 4 which seems a decent compromise in price and capacity for 2 X 8 gigs and a four gig for my satnav.............

Cheers
