Just had email flyer from 7dayshop.com. I know it's not Sandisk or Kingston, but I have never had a problem with any memory from 7dayshop, I've had probs with Kingston before with the lock, anyone else had that?

Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) Memory Card - 8GB - High Speed Class 4 (118x)

* SDHC is not backwards compatible, so be very sure that your device is SDHC enabled and will accept the card

Would depend on how old the firmware is, more than a year and no, less than and it's possible... Do you know anyone with any size or sdhc card you could test it with ?

Although I am pretty sure that these cards would work in an EeePC, I understand that teh EeePC has issues with some SDHC cards that have a low read/write speed.

Anyone know if these cards can be used to expand the flash memory for the EePC?

TIA

£3.95 P&P for something the size of the stamp????:x

Not too sure about the card being fast enough for what you're after. Although its as cheap as chips, you get what you pay for.:?

I'd be more concerned about buying it from 7dayshop.com as searches will shop up LOADS of unhappy customers.

I got 'hooked' by one of their cheap deals (which they hadn't got any in despite advertising PLENTY OF STOCK ) but then got whacked the extortionate P&P on the small battery tester I also ordered.:x

Great if you're one of the lucky ones but slide into the 'backorder' bin of despair & they'll keep your money for several weeks before you get fed up and cancel.:?

I used to order loads of stuff from them as they used to have 99p shipping. It then went up a few quid and that was fine if I was ordering a few items. However they did a charity stunt of giving a pound for every order taken but at the very same time they put the postage up a pound. I emailed them and they said it was just a coincidence.

I haven't bothered with them since.

Insurance / Risk ?

I've always used 7dayshop happily, as their batteries are stellar. However, £3.95 is a bit of a pain, made much less annoying by ordering a few other bits at the same time. They arrive from Jersey so my only grip is that occasionally they can get held up, but consignments are always less than than the VAT exemption amount ;)

I just had a class 6 8GB card delivered from Amazon. With P & P, it works out as £21, but I needed the fastest write speed as I'm using it in a flash camcorder. The price beofre P & P was £16.49

If only this was Micro SDHC.

Another vote for the play one. Its cheaper, much faster delivery and works fine in my Archos 605.

This card works fine in the Asus EEE PC. I'm using one.

The P&P is per order. Whenever I get something from 7day I make sure I'm ordering plenty to make it worthwhile - that includes ordering stuff for colleagues so we can split the postage.

Regards,
Mark.
