Good price!

I got the same one from eBay for 99p delivered via Hong Kong a few weeks ago.
#5
The same sort of thing is readily available in Poundland for those near to one.

Edit:

There's two versions of this, the one I got from Poundland supports both SD and SDHC
(was printed on the packaging, and tested SDHC cards and reads them fine)

Not sure if this one supports SDHC cards (= those are the cards with a capacity > 8Gb), only way to find out is to buy one from picstop.

It does support SDHC
see: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

mod edit: please don't post links to your own site - just state the facts as above - thanks

well sort of, it basicly converts a sd card to a usb stick
#12
Indeed, so it's suitable for digital cameras without having to use a USB lead.

And to repeat, I also got one from Poundland, well, maybe a couple now as I keep leaving them in bags!
#13
i got one like this from poundland, but it didnt read SDHC cards. i spent ages trying to figure out why the card wouldnt get read, and why it kept saying it needed formatted.

so my tip is, don't be silly like me and read the packaging lol
#14
Do the poundland ones actually work with SDHC? I picked up a couple cos i had 2 spare 1GB RS-MMC cards lying around so made two nice USB sticks lol (albeit very slow!). Just in case I upgrade the cards to SDHC at some point?
#15
Bossworld read the packaging, some read sdhc and some don't...

Mine says it, but doesn't necessarily mean it will lol, you know what these cheap components are like, labelled up as everything. Guess i'll just have to find an SDHC card

Cool - great find - I've bid on one.

Folks, can I suggest that we don't have bidding wars with each other - find the earliest ending auction with 0 bids & bid on that, rather than us all driving the prices up (his traffic is going to rocket).

PS On the SDHC question, SDHC is generally >2GB in size, BUT there are some 4GB non-HC SD cards - very rare, but a god send if your beloved SD device needs non-HC & you need more capacity!

I just got one from pound shop, and yes it does work, but do check the packaging as there appears to be two types on sale.
