See a West End Show £10 - £35.00 for TOP SEATS

Get into London Theatre this winter with unbelievable ticket deals to over 45 top shows for performances until 12 February 2010. Experience the magic of theatre at a fraction of the cost with tickets for £10, £15, £25 and £35.

Okay, before the HUKD police start sprouting their usual 'I'm considerably better than yow' I know this deal has been posted before however that was over a month ago and try as I might I can't find the rules on posting although I'm sure some tree hugging hippy will post a link. Bear in mind I'm drunk and I'm a bit thick!

Anyway here is a fantastic deal for those who haven't seen it. Me and missus papa are going to London town to see Cirque Du Soleil in February and she wanted to see Stomp while we were down there so I started shopping around and found this site.
It's an annual promotion as far as I can tell with the specific porpoise of getting more people to visit West End shows.

There's lots of shows to choose from for a fraction of the price, (well 50% anyway) of normal tickets. I got 2 Stomp tickets for £15 each when they should have been £47.50 each. The bonus is you get to choose your seats yourself before booking and having previously been to see Stomp I managed to get fantastic seats. (this isn't just a 'sell all the duff seats you would struggle to normally sell' promotion)! another example is Oliver, £62.50 tickets for £35. Also no booking fee and tickets are posted out to you freeeeeeeeeeeeee!

The offer runs until the 12th February so should hopefully help somebody.

The link should point you to the full list of shows but with me being such a gormless twit I've probably funned it up...

Excellent find!! There are normally ways and means of getting tickets for these prices (i.e to the ticket stalls in Leicester Square for example... or even LastMinute every now and then), but of all the online retailers, none have provided free P&P or zero "booking fee". The hard part for me is seeing who would like to go with me lol. Have some heat AND rep! :)

A very happy news for London Theatre lovers with cheap deals.

Any ideas if this will likely be extended to the weekend of the 19th Feb?
And if not, what is the best way to get cheap west end tickets?
#19
Just to mention, when booking seats for a show (and checking if there are any other offers on), I've found the TheatreMonkey site excellent. As well as a list of special offers, it has a seatplan for each theatre and indicates where they think there are 'better value/view' seats. I've booked using these plans a couple of times and their recommendations have turned out well so far :)

awesome, stay off the booze though ;)

Thanks

I've booked 2 seats for Oliver.

If you book ticket early midweek you tend to get better seats on arrival as they will oten have part of the theatre closed so you get an automatic upgrade.

Another tip buy your small bottles of wine in local supermarket so you have your refreshments for half time sorted as drinks prices are a rip off and wine can be carp.

I am going to a Monday evening showing in Feb.

I don't think this will be extended to cover the following weekend. I would suggest the discount ticket booth half way between leicester square and picaddilly circus who usually have some decent deals. you can't miss it as it usually has a queue. have a good idea what you want though and also a couple of backups. And get there fairly early. Also tkts.co.uk can have some good prices.

Hope this helps.

I didn't look for any £10 tickets although these were probably for the less popular shows. Did get 2 Stomp tickets for £15 each mind. I think the way to do it is to actually have something in mind and get cheaper tickets than elsewhere than just trying for a £10 ticket just for the sake of it.

Edited: I managed to find 2 plays that gave £10 tickets and still plenty of £15 tickets still available!

When are these theatre deals ever 'not' on? This has been the standard method of filling out theatres for many years.
Supermarkets do buy one get one free offers, shops reduce christmas stuff after christmas and easter eggs after easter and so on and so on.

Dude, are you serious?! :? Did you actually go see it? :?

THRILLER LIVE is GREAT! :w00t:

In fact, due to phenomenal public demand, Thriller Live has again extended its booking by another 5 months - until May 9, 2010 & it has been nominated for Best New Musical at the Whatsonstage.com.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND seeing this spectacular theatrical show/concert. Theres over 2 hours of non-stop hit songs delivered by an exceptionally talented cast and live band. The show sold out within 35 minutes when it came to my hometown of Plymouth.

Obviously its never going to be a tenth of what the man himself would have achieved if he was still here but it doesn't do MJ any injustice either. It just makes you wanna dance!

I have also seen Oliver & that was good too, but not a scratch on Thriller Live when it comes to the enjoyability factor.

What! This never ending offer has been extended another 6 weeks? My God, Spread the Word!

Surely this deserves a new post of it's own?
