The ps2 bundle is sadly lacking the shining series, but if you shop around and get it used for £6-£8 it's still miles better value than the steam sale, and miles better games (sonic, vectorman, phantasy star...!).

The phantasy star series is a must have for any RPG fan, and is on both compilations.

----------

Steam sale looks like mainly "arcade" classics, so good value if that's your thing. So heat added all the same. :)

how do you play these games????

Just get an emulator and a rom pack online ppl then u can have 3500 megadrive games they r only like 300kb in size, easy to run and install. No multiplayer but alot of these games in the pack dont even have it and unless you got m8s that are nutty to buy these packs doubt there will be many random ppl to play with. Though must say if they ever release Micro machines tourbo tournament 2 with online I will be the first one to buy it.

Meh, this isn't really the place to be talking about naughty illegal freebies :p Music is "free", films are "free", old games are "free". If you wanna be lame.

Struggle with keyboard bindings, or buy a cheap PC gamepad (USB) or if you own a console buy one of the packs I linked instead ;)

I love the old games but to be honest i have these packs and never play them, i got free with fm2011 on steam but would not pay for them seperately. There are some games from the past i would love to play but these packs are too dated now and just cannot enjoy anymore.....find me Wonderboy though and I would be happy.
