Cheers, I thought it had been but just threw PS3 in just as a reminder.

I just realized I spent more than that just on the 3 sonic games..damn you XBL Arcade!

Not a bargain price, but definitely the cheapest you'll find it at.

Great price if you want to ruin those childhood memories

The Xbox 360 version has been this price for a few months. I bought mine for £10 from Play back in December. Regardless, it's still a decent deal considering the price of some Xbox Live Arcade titles (as reejor04 alluded to).

finally below £10. Nice one.

No Toejam and Earl :(

This has never gone under £9.99 really, I rented it and then said to myself I'd get it at a fiver but never happened.

Sonic 1, 2, 3 and the Streets of Rage series are still great. Anything on this collection that is bad (not a lot) was always bad, like Golden Axe and Altered Beast.

This is a collection of Sega games, Toejam and Earl was by JVP who don't even exist any more so who knows who owns the franchise. Probaby Telltale Games, wouldn't be suprised if it was their next adventure series after King's Quest :P

I'm sure that the designer, Greg Johnson, owns the intellectual property rights to the original, so it appears the problem lies with him. As for the reasons behind there not being a port, I have no idea. Greg Johnson was a co-founder of Johnson Voorsanger Productions (JVP) along with Mark Voorsanger (hence the Johnson/Vorrsanger) and I believe he came up with the concept and retained the rights. A smart move, but he doesn't appear to be doing anything with it. I did hear of a DS version of Toejam and Earl a while ago, however it doesn't look like it's going to happen.

Golden Axe was brilliant and still is very playable.

This collection also has the original arcade Shinobi which I enjoyed completing for the first time a few months ago, 25 years after pumping in the 10p's as a child.
