A lot of games for your money. I have the PS2 version but not as many on that one. Nice one.

:)

Same here, but seeing as it only got released a short while ago I doubt it will drop that low until closer to xmas :)

Think your going to be finding this in the clearance section of many shops/sites in about a month or two, Too many good next gen games coming out to be spending £20 on something I can emulate using either MAME for arcade original or GENS for console versions, Good price if you really must have it:thumbsup::thumbsup:

#13
Put it in the basket and 10% is deducted.
#14
£22.89 for me?

edit: Doh! spend too long typing and 4 people post before you hit "post quick reply" lol
#15
In my opinion this game will be worth getting once it goes down to £9.99, shouldn't be too long...
#16
no sonic 3 & knuckles lock on feature = no purchase for me. i cancelled my pre-order last week! if anyone's interested: sega said they couldnt fit it in because of time/space constraints, claiming that they wouldn't have been able to fit on all the extra unlockable games if they'd included it. then someone went out of their way to prove that it only takes 5 minutes to join the games together and the resultant game is about 2MB in size. What does this mean? Well it means Sega are probably planning to release it later as downloadable content in order to squeeze a little more cash out of us.
#17
Well Ive ordered it. Voted HOT.

This sucks. Where are:

Road Rash
Jungle Strike
Desert Strike
Fifa '94
Jurassic Park
NHL '95
Madden NFL'92
Robocop
MiG29-Fulcrum

All classic games missed out.

Streets of rage is awesome though.

You're right, some awesome games in there, and would have been nice to have seen them in the collection.

However, quite a few are by Electronic Arts, and we all know they are a bunch of rip off merchants, and this disc wouldn't be sold for less than £40 if they were on there

A good and impartial review of it here if your teetering...

You can run MAME on the PS3 if you have Unix installed....

Think most of those are owned by EA, it's only games published by Sega on this compilation. I may be wrong though.
#23
Thanks alot for this. I've just ordered myself a copy for the PS3. There's an extra 9 unlockable games too, so it works out around 50p a game. Happy days!
#24
How many achievements in total are on the game?

A fellow GC reader? Excellent
They never publish my emails, Digitiser used to like them :x

very, very tempted but not too flush with cash this now. if it becomes availible @ £10-15 that might convince me though as I love the streets of rage series. Looks a great collection to have on 1 disc!

Sweet spot for me would be around £9.67, but this is alot of game for your money even at this price when compared to the ridiculous prices they charge for old game on PSN, Virtual console etc......
#31
waiting for it to be sub £10 - considering how much games have dropped in price lately
#32
cracking price but already have most of these as I still have my Mega Drive 2 :)
#33
I have read a review about this game which rings very true, and is a huge disapointment.

There is only 34MB worth of games on this disc, which is capable of holding upto 50 Giggs! You can store the entire Sega games catalogue (every game released for that console) on one Disc and still have tonnes of room left over.

The deal is good for what everone else is selling it at, but tbh its a complete rip off!
#34
Cant believe they dont have Revenge of Shinobi on there, and have Shinobi III - the former being one of the all time best SM games! Golden Axe III is also pants! Should also have had Truxton as a good shoot em up! Although not the best port - should also have had street fighter 2 championship edition!
#35
if it had binatone grandstand tennis I would be in
#36
too bad theres no online play
#37
Just placed order,,, brilliant deal! - streets of rage,, sonic, shinobi..... Cant wait.
#38
No sonic lock-on, no deal! :(

#39
Did anyone EVER complete Kid Chameleon? I played on that game for hours and hours and never got to the end, it just went on and on until my Mega Drive overheated and packed in!
#40
Ah what the hell, ordered! :-D

H&R left.
