Is this a deal?

It is unless you can find it cheaper elsewhere...It's £99 at Amazon

It's a good price. But, you run the import taxes gauntlet with items from Singapore. I got unlucky and had to pay 1/4 of my watch's value in taxes/fees.

Iv used them and no tax sent via dhl and arrived in 3 days, had to open the watch and regulate it, out the box was -23 sec/day but now +1.8 seconds a day, since I wear it to bed it slows and evens out over the week, fast during the days and slow at night. really nice for the money

I couldn't find it any cheaper than £54 Supa. Someone will probably be along in a minute to tell me different :D

I've used them 8/9 times, and never had a problem. They always arrive within 3 or 4 days, but this is a bank holiday weekend so it will probably be Tuesday or Wednesday if you ordered now.

VAT would be about £10 (if paid) and its below the custom duty threshold...

I paid £14 duty and £11 DHL fees on a watch with a declared value of $50. It was declared as a measuring instrument on the customs forms.

I ordered 4 watches at Christmas in one go, not a problem.

Out of curiosity, how do you change the shipping method - when I look just now it only has the single option of "Registered airmail". I ask because I ordered a watch on 18th August and couldn't find an option for FedEx or DHL.

Not sure, but I think you have to order a watch over over a certain value in order to qualify for free DHL.

I reckon that's the answer. I just added another to my basket and the option for DHL shipping shows up. Thanks for the suggestion!

Easiest way to Almost guarantee duty and fees is to use DHL etc..when ordering from China

Use the cheap snail mail option, be patient, wait a couple of weeks for stuff and save some money

Just discovered Creation Watches. It's very cheap. This is a bit cheaper than Amazon. Note you can also get a similar Seiko 5 model, with different dial coloir, from Goldsmiths for around £60. You cab also pay with Tesco Clubcard points for 3x value. So this makes it around £20!

Creation do great prices right now on Orient Mako and Ray models right now, starting around £88.

even goldsmiths is £60 if you order through quidco you get 12% back. cheaper than Singapore

Very strong and reliable autos these, my dad has had his on for 6-7 years. He has worked on cars and stuff and never takes it off. Still going strong, and we're not even sure if it's genuine as it was £30 off ebay. Hot deal.

Mine was new as it came with all packaging including the plastic and paper around the links.

All the links were there and untouched as I adjusted and removed them myself.

Another option if you prefer a blue dial; Amazon have the SNXS77 for a similar amount. See 'other sellers' for best price.
It looks much nicer in real life than in the photos. Several YouTube vids which show this.
