Very good seller - can recommend.

Amazing watch, had mine for about 5 years now. I would get another but not a fan of the black face.
#3
A brilliant watch and at this price this is a super deal.!! HOT HOT!
#4
There are other watches too on their website at some CRACKING discounts.

The Seiko Sportura ones are superb watches and bnuilt to last too. At the price they are they're superb value!

I've had the older version of this watch for over three years now and I still love it.

Well worth the money at that price. Although I got mine as an engagement gift from the wife (who was a jeweler at the time so got it around this price:whistling:)

I've got the silver face one, had mine for 2 years now, . the watch is quality.

Be warned though, my misses bought mine and was dissapointed that the actual time piece didn't make up the full face, its the "stopwatch"( think its for diving), however this doesnt bother me and would recommend to anyone.

great price, misses paid around £400 for mine

Yes I saw that the time part is a small part of the watch face, aside from that very hot. Don't need another watch or do I????

I'm sorry that you're so poor. Leave your address and I will send you some money. Is that the response you were hoping for?

Seiko do make quality watches, however, the battery in the kinetic range dies after about 8 years and it's expensive to replace. This happened to me so I got rid of the watch. Would get another one though.
#13
Used this seller a couple of times with excellent service. I have also posted deals from tictoc watches but for some reason they were pulled, don't know why ???.

Same company selling it on Amazon Marketplace. The extra cost is what is incurred by selling through them. I asked them that question!

As with a lot of Rolex watches the RRP is never achievable unless you are prepared to wait for years on a waiting list.

For example the Rolex Daytona in Steel does not have a waiting list anymore as it got to about 5 years apparently. So the RRP is around £4,500 but you'll have to pay £5,500+ for one.

Looked at one of these last year but was amazed by how heavy it was and disappointed by the small clock face. great looking watch at a fraction of the Swiss makers' prices. Bought a Titanuim Sportura Chronograph in the end for £150. Keeps time better than my old TAG did....

What a weird name 'Grand Complications' ; which is exactly what I would have if I went home and explained to the wife that I had just spent £37,000 on a watch!

Does the second hand sweep on this watch? As in the smooth style sweep? If that makes sense to anyone ;-)

the secomd hand ( which is not on the main clock face ) doesnt move in a smooth motion. the "stopwatch" does

hope that helps:thumbsup:
#32
I've got 3 seiko watches a sportura and 2 kinetics had the kinetic for about 13 years still looks good
I could never justify buying a tag watch back in the day
#33
Hang on a minute. The main face seems to be the stop watch. The clock seems to be the small bit in the bottom centre. This isn't really a watch then is it?
#34
Me? I got this one:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v120/spinynorman/sportura_SLQ015J.jpg

'bout 8 years ago from a place in the Strand for about a grand. Lovely watch, always keeps good time & a great conversation piece......:)

Fantastic, my husband wanted a seiko kinetic for christmas but we decided they were too expensive- not now, I'm getting one as a surprise. Thanks OP!
#36
Not a fan of the design, and the tiny little clock face. Seems a shame put the stopclock function above telling the time!
Good price though. I have a 6 year old Seiko kinetic watch I bought for £120 from Dubai. Still working fine, but watch faces are much bigger now than back then, so its looking out of date, and slightly feminine.
#37
got a coutura kinetic last year 300 down to 120 after quidco etc, never had a good watch before and its great better than the swiss overpriced alternatives
#38
So tempted by this watch... but I really should resist. I am confused as to why the silver version of this is £410. Maybe the black one is not as good a seller?

Also am I correct in thinking this is the 2008 model? From what I can see the 2009 model is a black 'ion' bracelet.

For 220 quid is this a good investment in terms of future worth/resale

They are discontinued models now and so TicToc are selling them off.
The guy at TicToc says their electonic point of sale system reprices overnight due to stock levels.
A bit like Ryanair do with seats. The more they have of a sale item thecheaper it is, when they get to the last one or two then the price increases.
Worth a go tho. Still at £550 in Ernest Jones. Tried it on there and it feels amazing. I have a Sportura from 3 years ago and that's a beaut so I'm sure this will be.

Seiko makes some fantastic watches....but I'm afraid this is one SERIOUSLY UGLY watch....no wonder it's been discounted !
