Games at Argos priced at the £20-25 mark seem to be on a glitch deal where you get one for half price/£10.01

Selection of games include;

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six - Xbox 360. 5682320 - £19.99
The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion - XBox 360. 568/0906 - £19.99
Hitman: Blood Money - Xbox 360. 568/1778 - £19.99
Moto GP - Xbox 360. 568/1754 - £24.99
Saints Row - Xbox 360. 568/1895 - £19.99
Gears of War - Xbox 360. 568/2344 - £24.99
Colin McRae Dirt - Xbox 360. 568/4476 - £19.99
Tomb Raider: Anniversary - Xbox 360. 568/7473 - £19.99
WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2007 - Xbox 360. 568/2296 - £24.99

So if you want Rainbow six and elder scrolls costs you £30 rather than £40, As elder scrolls is available almost nowhere and games like Gears of War are still £30 plus in a lot of places I reckon its pretty damn good. The offer is a bit confusing as it as billed as get a half price xploder cheat saves system but if you just use trial and error to add the two games to your trolley you want you can instantly see what is discounted and what isnt. Obviously games will go in and out of availability so dont complain if they arent there now. (Gears of war unavailable at minute)

Deal available till 25th July 2008.

Also they have a selection of games 2 for £30 which is a true deal but this one means you can get two £24.99 games for £35.00

To get to the selection of games click on "SPECIAL OFFERS" on the screen. Or just scan through the 360 games. Wont let me supply a direct link for some reason.

This is an advertised (long-standing) offer as far as I'm aware - correct me if wrong though.
Buy any 2 £24.99 Xbox 360 games for only £35.00
Buy any 2 £19.99 Xbox 360 games for £30.00
(it's even in the catalogue)

You may well be right havent looked at the catalogue. Couldnt see anything online though. Think theyd advertise it because as far as I can tell it aint there.

Yes the offer has been going for a bit, apparantly their was a glitch in the system a while back by where you add games then remove the more expensive one and you are suppose to be able to reserve the cheaper one for £10.01 but not sure if it still works and argos are probably wise to it when you go and collect

Of the games you listed...

Oblivion
Hitman: Blood Money
Moto GP
Saints Row
Tomb Raider: Anniversary
WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2007

...can all be bought for less than £15 elsewhere.

So the only two that save money in the 2 for £30 offer, are:

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas (Next best price =£15.93)
Colin McRae Dirt (Next best price =£17.99)

And Gears of War would be slightly cheaper than the next best price (17.99) if there was a game to buy with it.

Exactly, these games were on offer from the time the catalog first came out. They were probably great deals then but the price of games comes down so quickly they just turn into average ones. That's why argos are always printing them update leaflets.
