Some look to be a good price, if not the most sought after titles. Heat added.

Yeah, I noticed the Searchers while browsing ealier. I've been waiting ages for that to come down to a decent price. Classic!

Play.com have added some quality, if not niche, titles here, Return To House On Haunted Hill is rarely cheap, they also have Disney's Haunted Mansion @12.99, Phantom Of The Opera 11.99 - thanks OP, left you heat and rep.

Well...amazon have just dropped some prices to match.

BUT!!!

Most are in the 3 for 2 too!

Just picked up three for £20 delivered!

Amazon still have what I bought at 17.98 and no 3 for 2 , so I'm happy. (In a strange way)

they need to bring some decent titles out and the credit crunch hasn't helped sales generally or on ebay :(

So what evidence to you have to back that up with?

Blu-Ray is actually selling much better than DVD in the same stage of development

Sounds like a HD DVD fan which IS on the decline;-)

what do you mean a hd-dvd fan which is in decline? hd-dvd has been dead for months. doesnt make it a bad deal when the movies are 2 quid does it?

i recall when dvds started and i thought they were a waste of money over VHS - and now look at us!

give it 10 years and people will be saying DVD??? oh i remember them i think......

as for prices, right now a tenner for a bluray is good - still too much for me like, i pay no more than £6 and have done well with that. infact i got Firewall for £5 from CEX the other day. and ebay is full or bargains. its not a flop - Blu-Ray is only just beginning. and im not a BR fanboy, heck i have 4 x more hd-dvds than i do BR, but you have to be a realist.

of course you could all stop whining, and wait 5 years to when blurays are going to be at a much lower price across the board - they you will feel silly for paying a tenner now - but hey whats 5 years enjoyment when you can save money in the future!!!

stinger, do you/did you have same username on CEX forums, or just coincidence?

Blu Ray sales up something like 337% LFL at the end of last year!

I love the format, I think the money is worth paying for better films, I dont go to the cinema as I believe it is a waste of money, a Blu Ray costs little less than the average decent cinema visit!

Nice deals around at the moment if you are patient!
