Good find, but could become quite expensive with the batteries, unless using rechargeables..

Quote from the website:
Q) and how long does it keep warm for one set of batteries? -
A) OK - this should be used in the following way; turn on the power for a few minutes to warm up the jacket - turn off. It is not deisgned to be powered up constantly and if used in this way the batteries will last no more than 40 to 50 minutes.

6 batteries required.

Lol no mention then, if on all time it might/will burn you then? :)

Rechargeable batteries are the way forward. 40 C is pretty warm and you cant stand for long ;-)

Great idea, especially if you're into fishing! :)

I keep on putting off buying one of these.
It's got to be a better idea than thermal underwear - which works, but, does not have an off switch and people in Tescos can be so unreasonably objectionable when you need to take off your damart vest and longjohns.

There's some heated gloves as well.

Bonus: if you get tired/drunk and lay down in the road, then no one will park on you, so long as there are traffic wardens around.
