P2G are OK but contacting them is a total nightmare if anything goes wrong, they dont advertise a telephone number so your stuck emailing, and they take 24 hours to answer ech one, the only other contact is social media and thats totally unacceptable!
[HUKD Deal Editor]#2
You might want to put the every day users price in the title as opposed to lowering it like Parcel2Go have £2.99 = £3.59 if i'm correct?

Thanks OP -- could be useful for when I finally get round to shoving a load of old electronics on eBay...

Worth a punt. PO and Parcel Force are stupidly expensive now. I have sold a few bits on ebay recently and ended up using Hermes to post them. Was teriffic service and worked a treat at a fraction of the cost.

Why hasn't Royal Mail Ltd got a version of this? oO

E.g. just install a load of secure lockers at their depots, saves them putting loads of parcels in a van only to bring them back.

I had a parcel myself sent by Hermes through P2G and got lost in transit. They've issued me a full refund for the item and postage in 2 days with no problem at all! I've actually had problems with RM always as when you lose something through them, there is no way you get a claim properly! They offer phone numbers but all are automated and giving you the option to fill in a form and send loads of proof which you may not have leading to your claim to be invalid. Believe me, P2G is the best so far putting all these companies together and managing them well!

I've put the price as per advertised in their website but also mentioned ex. VAT which should resolve the problem, lol.

Well not really, can you imagine how many deals on this site would be amazingly priced should every post creator state pre VAT pricing?

As I mentioned, I copied and pasted, also put the VAT to avoid confusion. Making no change in titles, prices from the original source is what I did so far in all my deals posted here and I had no problems so far. So please understand I didn't sit and calculate the price ex. VAT myself to show it cheaper than what it is!

Maximum size: 380x380x640mm

I still don't understand though, you drop of the item to the locker. But does the recipient get it delivered to their home or their locker and have to collect?

It is collected by City Link the next working day and then delivered using their 24hr service the following working day.
ie drop off at locker on Monday morning, collected Tuesday morning, Delivered by City Link on Wednesday between 9am and 5pm!

It is a fantastic service. I have used it to post a considerable number of parcels recently and it was fantastic. Makes my life much easier!

Victoria: Hello, you're through to Victoria. How can I help you today?
hang: sent a parcel, booked delivery online put weight as 1kg as it was from my scale,n paid £2.60 then dropped off, everything fine, next day received an email saying delivery being held coz of overweight,p2g says actual weight is 1.1kg.. coz of the 0.1kg i have been ask to pay an extra of £4.27, WTF! if i had put 1.1kg or up to 3kg,it would've only cost me £3.70 ish.. now i end up paying £2.60+£4.27=almost £7. p2g says the underpayment includes handling fees of £2.50. makes no bloody sense! rip off. congrats P2G,you've lost another customer!
Victoria: I am very sorry to hear this.
hang: coz p2g is cheap and easy so i use it. if there was another company that is similar i'd be gone straight away without no hesitation
hang: i understand if its overweight but your charge is ridiculous on that!
Victoria: I understand
hang: 0.1kg overweight costs £4.27 are you serious? is this how you do business? is this how you rip ur customers off?
hang: to send a parcel that weighs twice as much only costs £3.70 ish... and 0,1kg overweight costs £4.27
Victoria: I can only advise that you email [email protected] as that is the underpayment department
hang: you're sure going to lose more customers.

Without a small punitive deterrent then they would get alot of people underpaying, if underpaying and being caught only meant paying the actual difference. You agree to those terms when ordering and most that i have used have similar terms.

This chap has been putting this comment on three of my posts which were related to P2G deals. She must learn to be honest rather moaning why being fined for lying.
