These were £260 RRP at release (as stated in the review posted above by The Biff Man) so coming down this far as pretty good.
So if you are looking for On-Ear headphones then worth a look.

I would be looking for Over-Ears myself, but I can see the value here. And these wouldn't make you look as much a **** as a pair of Beats would.
I bought a pair of these last summer before selling them to purge my headphone collection (when the number of £100+ pairs you own spread into double digits you know you have a problem), they're seriously excellent headphones for their original £200+ RRP never mind this low! Clamping is heavy but the velour pads help with comfort, so they isolate very well, and the split articulating headband makes for a very secure fit so they're great as an exercise headphone.
Do the need a headphone amp like the 25's ?

No, they were made to be a lot more efficient and consumer friendly. I would use them to jog to work every morning where I'd run them straight out my nexus 4 because my iPod and amp stack was too large to run with.
one of the best bassy on-ears I've ever heard. For any unfamiliar with headphones like this - they're about a thousand times better than Beats Solo HD. I used to own the classic Senheiser HD25-1 II and found these a really nice step up because of the aluminium.
Awesome headphone. Had them on since yesterday morning. They even blocked out christmas!!
