What's the problem ?

Dealt with this company loads of times , no hassle at all .

Indigostarfish.com is an independent Jersey-based merchant offering to supply goods to UK customers via the Amazon.co.uk website.

Gosh PJR you beat me to it

Items for dispatch to UK will be sold by Amazon's Jersey Merchant, Indigostarfish.com.

I've had loads of stuff sent from Jersey. It's how amazon/play/hmv etc etc all manage to cut the prices and get us a bargain.

Yeh Indigostarfish are absolutely fine.

Also, these have the eco-packaging and so won't come in the packaging pictured on here, they'll be in a cardboard-like pack.

Indigostarfish are essentially Amazon Jersey. They are not an Amazon merchant in the usual sense.

Good headphones these, but the image used is not the eco-packaging!

What's your point, caller?

Every single time indigostarfish is mentioned you always get someone popping up with this inane pish... get it through your skulls, indigostarfish is essentially another arm of amazon uk.

Good find. Thanks

Bought a pair of these 2 years ago, they broke after a litteral year! So I got a replacement from amazon - these then broke 10 months later; so amazon gave a me a refund rather than another pair (14.99). And here I am buying my second pair, and despite the luck I've had with them, these are cracking earphones and are a steal at this price :-D
#11
I was looking at these to replace my CX300s that have developed a fault - and then realised that mine are only just over a year old and they should be covered by Sennheiser's 2 year warranty? Is that right and if so, should I return Amazon or Sennheiser?
#12
really good headphones, the packaging is really crap, but headphones are high quality.
#13
Excellent deal. I was looking at these a few weeks ago but ended up getting the AKG K 321 earphones instead. The sound seem very good but don't fit very well so may get a pair of these now.

Like i always do, i got distracted by the bigger number of the CX 400 II! They are selling for £18.20. Anyone know if these are worth the extra £s? From what i can see they have a few more accessories and better ambient noise (whatever that is). And non-eco packaging! Just asking so that I'm not here in a few weeks saying "those CX300s are great but the ambient noise isn't very good and think i'm gonna go for the CX 400s"!

Oh, and the picture on this deal might be incorrect but it's one of the images amazon use!
#14
Good quality mid-range earphones at a bargain price. Can't blame people about querying the 'amazon merchant' bit. There are so many fakes out there and they are frequently sold by amazon and play.com merchants plus fleabay of course. The fakes are sometimes very, very diffcult to detect as the product and the packaging look the real deal. Think about it. Buy 'em in at say 50p a pop and selling them at ten quid profit, is a quick way to make some serious money. That's why l normally prefer reputable retailers.

Having said that, given that several of you vouch for Indigowotsit, at the offer price l may just order a set or two to use as spares. Heat added.

CX300 are the best in the price range, if you do not know what ambient noise is, then surely you will not notice it ;)
Go for these, I would.
#16
If you dont mind having the CX 300 v1 then you can get some great buys. If your local currys have them they are only £4.97, failing that ebay brand new for £6.49-£7.99 generally and play.com is £8.49
#17
Another great find OP. Needed a new set for work and thats just sorted it!

cheers!

I found these with a company called York Electronics for 9.97 recently, unfortunately I wasnt able to post them here. In the end I didnt order from them as I was worried about the potential for fakes. That said when I asked Richer Sounds whether they were likely to be fake Richer said they would price match so I didnt have to run the risk. Since then I have found them a great job

Can any of you good people who've used all 3 variants comment on these up against the SoundMagic PL30s (which I'm currently using) and the Creative Labs EP630A's (which I also have and are half this price on Amazon)?

I love the EP630A's but bought the PL30s on a recommendation. After a few hours they really warmed to the task (mostly .MP3s, occasional CD or DVD)

Both sets have excellent bass response and isolation but I'd be tempted to try these out if someone nudges me towards them ...:whistling:

Trouble is... it's the ebay and playtrade ones that are most likely to be fakes...

Has anyone else noticed that these headphones are unbelievably trebley? I have to reduce treble or turn up bass with every player I use these on. Great price though, voted Hot!

It seems to be opposite for me and alot of other users. These are extremely bass bias headphones.
You should check if yours are fakes or faulty. Best to try comparing them with a friends cx300s

I don't care if i don't know what it is! I still want it! :p

Yeah you're probably right and I'll probably still buy the CX 400s! :-D

I think you are looking at the CX300 not the CX300 II

The CX300 are available from AUDIOINTIME on play at £12.95 http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/10852732/Sennheiser-CX300-II-Precision-ECO-Headphones/Product.html?ptsl=1&ob=Price&fb=0

#29
Now they're £12.36. Weird. But I'm not complaining!

In truth m8 i would stick with the PL30's  . I have both the PL30's and cx300's and i would say the CX300 are better built but the PL30 are a higher quality sound which is why everyone raves about them . I got my PL30 shipped in from china (not fake before anyone asks it is where they are manufactured) and paided around £12 for them including shippping :w00t:. Not that the cx300 are bad phones though..... i have no idea about the Creative Labs EP630A's though

Amazon normally gives you the best price retailer. Thay's why. You can choose to buy from Amazon at the right hand side of the page. I will definitely pay a bit more for security.
