Good price but the seller only has two feedback (+1 withdrawn negative) there's a lot of fake sennheisers out there so would only go with a mainstream seller personally.

+1, I personally wouldn't chance it. the 300's are around this price on play IIRC (not from a 3rd party!)

decided to leave it

thats the reason i paid £180, full whack, for my beats from Currys, just didn't want to chance anything from online as they'd probably be fake!

I bought a set of these from Play.com fpr £20, looks exactly the same and they turned otuto be fakes and fell apart after 3 weeks, seller was useless and still hasn't refunded me.

If these are real then it's a bargin but it's too easy to fake these headphones which is why there are so many out there.

Just my 2p's worth and not voting hot or cold unless anyone can confirm real :)

£17.86 now. Trouble is there are so many carp sellers on amazon and it takes ages to get get your money back. Probably more trouble than it's worth.
Sorry op!!

Thanks for posting OP, but buyers please check the amazon discussion boards and seller feedback before you buy.

Don't buy from the marketplace! I got a pair from play.com a year ago for about 17quid decent earphones just make sure you buy from a legit site
#16
I bought a pair of Sennheiser CX 300-II March this year from one of Amazon's private sellers but the left ear failed after several weeks. Asked about a replacement but was told none was available, even though the seller still had them for sale on Amazon, and was given a refund instead. I think maybe they were fakes as the quality of the packaging was bad and they seemed a little flimsy. The sound from them was very good so I would have kept them if they hadn't broken.

Arent these £18.44 from Amazon direct? If so, shouldnt it be hotter? Maybe im missing something?!
#18
I bought the CX300 from an Amazon marketplace seller who told me they were genuine. Once received, I checked on the web and all things pointed to these being fake. Seller told me he had no idea!!! Yeah right. He sent me £7 back via paypal and the headphones, even though were fake, were value for money at £3! Lasted me 9 months so far

No, they're £37.10 from Amazon and £18.44 by ExpressDelivery50 and Fulfilled by Amazon. That just means the seller's got Amazon to store them and send them out when they're sold, anyone can do it doesn't mean they're not fakes (which they probably are).

Thanks for the heads up. I had no idea that counterfeit goods extended to headphones. Perhaps I'm a little naive...
#21
Cold, these are most probably fakes. I thought these were from Amazon.
#22
Why are there so many fakes about? I've bought about 4-5 pairs of Sennheisers and Shures over the years at around these prices and never ended up with any fakes.
#23
Excellent headphones, bargain if legit but as above, had issues with fakes on Amazon, end of talky...
#24
Just been reading up Expressdelivery50 and they look a sound company, I have ordered some and will keep you informed, worth a kick in the nads.......
#25

Fake Sennheisers are probably about as common as fake CK pants, probably popular to fake as they can make 'a pair of headphones' extremely cheaply then pass them off as real Sennheiser's with a very high profit margin.

Check out:

http://fakeheadphones.com/

The sellers will even get good reviews because the items will turn up on time and look like what you've ordered, they'll even work OK and unless you have a genuine pair to compare them to you may well be fooled into thinking they're legit (of course if you did have the real ones to compare them to the sound quality would give it away!).

At the end of the day counterfeits of these are prolific, the sellers here are not well known names, they're too cheap. Doesn't take a genius to work out! Now what was that old saying 'if it's too good to be true...'?

Ordered 4 pairs off different marketplace sellers, and only 1 was fake, and I did get refunded immediately. Come to think of it, I actually made money on them, as he refunded me 20% because they were shipped late, and then a full refund on top of that because they were fake.

Someone expired this for the sake of £0.59p. what a ****

these are amazing headphones only problem is that my pair have just died the right pair lost signal and won't receive any sound and the wires show after a few months of use. shame. looking for a better earphone now!

I agree, they have a 12 month gurantee.
