I'd be concerned these may be fake. The seller is not Amazon themselves so not sure that this is allowed. Not voted.

EDIT: reading the amazon reviews there are major problems with people selling fakes. I would definately avoid.

i agree got caught by these shops and ebay -- great fakes like my mate who bought 2 rolex in mexico £ 80 each dead in 3 mths
#3
Got some genuine 400-IIs and some fake 300-IIs, and you can see the difference a mile off, never mind the sound quality.

Avoid.

I was unfortunate enough to buy some fake cx400s from an Amazon seller...the Sennheiser badge fell off one of the headphones on the first day.

Real quality... :-D

The sound was pretty good though and they served me well until I lost them.

"Fulfilled by Amazon"

Amazon would not distribute fake goods, these are definately genuine.
#6
even though it says "fulfilled by amazon" I don't think this is the same as amazon selling them which they do at £38. I am with other comments to avoid.

Do you really think Amazon would commit a crime by stocking counterfeit goods on their site? These goods are kept on Amazon site and distributed by Amazon.

The seller has 100% positive feedback and fullfilment by Amazon is only available to sellers with a good track record.

My wife's company uses fullfilment by Amazon. They store and dispatch the items from their own warehouse(s), so if these were fake Amazon would have shut the seller down like a shot.

Taking everything into consideration I would say these definitely aren't fakes. If you bought a pair and they were you could return them to Amazon for a full refund anyway.

I bought a pair of CX-300II's from Play.com (£12.99) and they've been great, they don't leak sound like the Sony's I had. Voted hot by me.

I have some experience with dealing with Amazon after being sold fake goods by a marketplace seller (admittedly not fullfilled by amazon) and their attitude was definately of the "couldn't care" variety. Basically it was up to me to ask the seller if I could return the goods as they were not as described. (The seller did not want to do this as he would not admit it was fake.) Eventually the seller disappeared and I got my money refunded but not after he'd ripped off a lot more people (going by his profile comments) and I'd sent a large number of emails arguing the toss with them.

That said if people are happy with this seller and amazon's guarantees maybe it's a good deal.

Big thanks to the OP!

I'm convinced that where amazon is holding the goods, it is in their best interests to ensure these are the genuine article. Trust me, if they are not they'll be sorry

Saw these last night but decided against getting them. As mentioned the seperate seller put me off, and I'm looking for ones with play/pause rather than just volume control

Yeah .. should be around £ 10 for crap fake and the nice fake (the ones that last years, waterproof, etc) - should be around £ 30. hehehe

Just ordered. Thanks
#17
Was just about to order, glad I read the comments here, for some reason I thought 'fulfilled by amazon' meant it came from an amazon warehouse on behalf of the seller. I'm sure I was caught out by play resellers before with fake creative buds.

Reading the 1 star reviews on amazon many are convinced they were sent fakes, one woman even bought them from amazon at full price and then these discounted ones a few weeks later and she clearly states they weren't the same and are probably fake.

Thanks for commenting on these, it really gave me a heads up

God its hard to do research eh!

http://www.bestdigitalmarket.com/contact/index

They have a valid website and valid uk address.

I doubt its fake

This seems like good feedback to me!

Having had a look at their product line, it seems that they sell what looks like genuine items at the sort of prices you would expect. I very much doubt that they are fakes too. I don't think a company that sell real sat navs, cameras etc would jeopardise their reputation by selling fake earphones.

Voted hot!

I've got some real CX500s and the Sennheiser badge fell of after about a month

These look like a good price and l agree that Amazon would not tolerate to be associated with fakes. Anyone actually compared the sound quality of these with the Sennheiser CX 300-II recently on offer from indigostarfish at £12.71? Appearance wise, the only difference appears to be that the CX400's have an in-line volume control. Interested to know whether the innards are different.
#23
If you want a guarenteed original one amazon have it for £38.72.

I was looking at this and then I looked at the address. '49A Tottenham Court Road'. Now that rings a bell for some other fake shop which got busted. Probably just coincidence though.

EDIT: Here look at this. http://www.allinlondon.co.uk/directory/1095/9719.php What a lovely looking shop lol.

While Amazon's policies do appear fairly straightforward, it is not always as easy in practice. Overall I do rate them as a pretty good busines, but they do really need to pick up on sellers using their site to sell fake goods (not that this company is.) The amount of people complaining they are being sold fake oral-b brush heads is riddiculous also, yet it continues.

i bought mine from a compnay called i2Have not sure if they fakes same price from amazon, havent had chance to colect them yet as they been sent my old place and i havent had chance to pop round this week..

bestdigitalmarket.com is a trading name of Azuras Ltd. Acording to companies house records, Azuras Ltd was incorporated (i.e established) on 21 Nov 2007. The registered office is the same address as the sole director which is CHAPEL COURT , ST MARKS ROAD, ENFIELD LONDON, MIDDLESEX EN1 1DT. I'll not give full details as it's in danger of becoming a bit 'bunny boilerish'. There is nothing in the albeit limited records to suggest anything is amiss.

I've gone from thinking that the earphone offer is genuine, to it's definitely dodgy, to now i dont have a bloody clue. I'm confused and my brain hurts. Think i'll sit this one out.
#32
so why do they fake their address by giving wrong information to the people on their own website?Wh dont they use uk based website?
All suspicious, unrated ,fake sellers or companies uses "Tottenham court road address and a london number to be seen more secure.(they grab a london number from skype) but it doesnt work...and wont work...
#33
why expired?
now £16.60
even cheaper

why expired?

Because the £17.99 price was classed as being "fulfilled" by Amazon even though it was actually being sold by someone else. The seller at £16.60 isn't.

You know that doesn't mean anything right...

Both my domain and hosting are registered in the US and have been for years.

I have just received these.... shipped in Amazon packaging, and I think their address SA1 8QX.

Looked at all articles on the net which show you how to spot fakes and seems they are genuine.

Few things which surprise me though...

6 pairs of Ear Buds (2 pairs of each size)
Right Earphone cable is same size as left
Wire is shorter than on my CX300's
Volume control doesn't totally mute sound
