Nice price for these wee headphones - Sennheiser are a top brand, and I find these in-ear phones incredibly comfortable!

Details: The CX 300 black are high-quality stereo ear-canal headphones with powerful, bass-driven stereo sound for listening 'on the move'. Ear adapters in three different sizes ensure a perfect fit, high wearing comfort and an excellent attenuation of ambient noise. The CX 300 are ideal for use with MP3, CD, MD, or DVD players and many other portable devices.

arrrrrgggg!!!!!! bought these this afternoon from amazon and they were £17.80!

LOL, don't worry, amazon have a policy which will refund you the difference, but you can only apply for it once they are shipped I think.

I am sure Amazon have a policy that if they reduce the item within so many days of your purchase you can get the difference back as credit.

These are the best headphones you can get for the price, they are extremely comfortable and they don't push all the way into your ear like some may do. They are easy to use, and have phenomenal performance for the price. I am extremely pleased with them :) (I bought them for £18 which was still cheap - I would have paid £35 for them!)

Yeah, it's really funny with Amazon - I bought the 3 weeks ago for £24.99, next day they went down to £22.99, they refunded me, next week they went down to £17.99, they refunded me the difference, then they went down to £15.40 , they refunded me again, then they went down to £13.99 (which now doesn't qualify for free postage), so they told me they couldn't refund me now since £13.99 + postage is more than £15.40.

I have to recommend these headphones to everyone!! theyre v good quality, the sound is awesome (for the price!), they block out a lot of backround noise (which could be a good or bad thing lol!) and they don't seem to fall out my ears like other headphones.. plus the bass produced by them is really good!

Cheers for this. Been looking for these for a while. My trustu mx-500's are beginning to wear out.

Voted hot!
#8
If you look at the marketplace sellers on Amazon, some have them for £8.49 + postage, which seems to be £4; so £12.49 in total. :)
#9
Thanks for the good reviews and opinions guys :)

For the price it may be worth avoiding Amazon market place as there was a lot of fakes CX300's available.I would think buying from Amazon themselves should guarantee they are genuine.

Oh and I would highly recommend them also:thumbsup: .
#11
For everyone's information: Amazon is one of the very few official distributors of Sennheiser products.

More for everyone's information: Pretty much all of the sennheiser headphones on Amazon marketplace and eBay are fake.

I've been thinking of getting a pair of high-end headphones. So far
the Etymotic Research ER6i's are top of the list (I can't stretch to the ER4's)

Anyone know how these Sennheisers compare?

Excellent spot!

Cheers!

Excellent headphones - got some just before Christmas from Amazon too.

I got these last summer and they're superb. I almost got another one from Amazon Marketplace for £6.99 last night but I hung around too long and someone nicked them out of my basket.

I bought some from Amazon Marketplace after the original post. How will I be able to tell if they are fake when they arrive?

:-(

Thanks I have been meaning to get some decent headphones for a while, just ordered a pair of these, I hope they are as good as you say

For all of you who would like to check if your pair is fake: please read this.

Can anyone tell me if these are smaller than regular in ear ones? My daughter (11, but very tiny) just treated herself to a creative Zen, but the phones dont fit in her ears, tried a few other pairs & all too big for her tiny ears, wondered if these might be better?
Thanks

these are canal-phones so they go right into the ear canal. There are 3 sets of rubber pads that go into the ear - small, medium and large. So she should be able to use the small ones.

And the auto-inserted ads to the right are all fakes.

excellent deal, voted hot....

pity i cant afford these right now!

Called Amazon and managed to get the rep to see sense and he changed my order to the new price - result!
#28
Just ordered mine :).

I wanted some cheaper headphones for the beach on holiday, dont like taking expensive ones to get covered in sun cream and sand :)

As far as i'm aware, the main way you can tell if they're fake or not is if the earphone jack is straight. If it is it's fake. The genuine ones should have a 90 degree angle.

I wonder if any of you very knowledgeable people can help me?

I've got a Sony Ericsson 810i Walkman phone with the earphones supplied when bought. I'm looking for a spare pair of earphones to go with it, as I keep on forgetting to take them when I go out. Are the Sennheisers quoted here compatible with my phone/any phone?

Also, are the Senns. likely to be better or poorer than the ones supplied with the phone(I have no complaints really)?

Many thanks for anyone that can help an entirely non technical newbie to phones/headphones/technology :-)
#31
Thanks for the link to the guide, after a month with my set (and very dissapointed with the rubbish sound quality) i have discovered the 'straight jack'. Having just sent an email to the seller, low and behold, the last of his feedback stated 'very nice guy but this product is a FAKE'
I await his response.....................................

Dixons are £31.99 on these! I might just stock up!

Superb phones and I can say that, at least for the 2 pairs I bought from **** (edit: sorry I won't advertise but they're an Amazon market place seller) are geniune....well...they don't exhibit any of the signs described in that v useful link. Cheers.
An i remember cursing the blister packaging as it was so hard to get into!

They even survived a dunking in a cup of tea

Thanks emma :)

Great headphones !

If your W810i came with a break-away cable (i.e. you plug the headphones into the socket on the mic of your handsfree), then yes.

Sennheiser make some of the best sounding audio equipment around. Although the quality may also depend on the quality of the Sony Ericsson handsfree lead.

I paid £27 a few months ago, but I don't care. They were well worth it.

An absolute gift at this price

Who cares where it's spotted as long as it appears on HUKD?
