Nice price, these are £39.99 in the shops.

However, compared to the Sony Ex71 that I replaced I find these to be a bit disappointing. The fit in the ear is not as good and nor is the bass as clear.

I was thinking of getting them a while back but they went out of stock and I'd have preferred White (for my DS) rather than black but was a noticeable price difference....saw these with all colours at the same price (still cheaper than elsewhere that I could see) so thought I'd post them....Eco packaging is a nice touch too. :)

If you want to save a little more then the silver version (in the original non-eco packaging) is available for £16.71:

(Direct from Amazon, that is, not a Marketplace seller)

I bought these a while back at that price. Great fones... Then found out you could get them for free at Richer Sounds if you spend £9.99. Not sure if thats still the case. There was a voucher on their site a while back...
#5
Not quite - the free Richer Sounds ones are MX 300's, not CX300's, i.e. ear-bud rather than in-ear headphones.
#6
These wore £13.99 before on amazon, even cheaper at time

Yep mate got them at £13.99 a few months ago, I then got them last month at £15.99 in Black and now gone up to £17.99. They are great headphones but always around this price on Amazon ;-)

stone cold freezing, far more expensive than they were before:

You have to put these right into your ear to get the best sound possible. I have a pair and they are good but you do find that they fall out a lot when walking!

I prefer my Philips ones because they are a much better fit inside the ear. Although the sound isn't as good!
#11
No idea what they're like as I spent the extra £10 and got a pair of Shure's which are great.
#12
I personally would only buy these headphones from well known stores due the amount of fakes on the market.
#13
there is another thread buried on here about these exact inearphones, rebranded under creative.

They are on Amazon for £9.99.

Was cursing about paying delivery but bought a second pair for a collegue, case closed!
#14
Rebranded under Phillips? They're Creative tho??
#15
sorry i meant creative,

phillips on the mind at the moment.

Corrected post, thanks.
#16
i would go for these headfones
they are one of the best pair ive had that have lasted well
#17
I vote warm because it isn't exactly an amazing deal. 17.99 is like what we pay at most places now, and these headphones has been cheaper.

£17.49 @ Play.com for the black ones.

Don't worry you should get it in a day or so. I had been waiting since the 10th for a DVD boxset - it turned up on the 16th! I guess they are either very busy or the post is just getting slower

I've just ordered a pair of these for my mum @ Play (cheapest at the moment) - I've had a pair myself for over a year with my Creative Zen and they come highly recommended

I ordered the Creative Labs EP-630 at amazon (£9.99) which seem to be identical spec to the Sennheisers - despatched 9th November and only got them yesterday. Great phones though.

Can anyone confirm how long the cable are on these?

At work I have an Apple G5 Tower and I struggle to find decent headphones with a long enough lead.

I've measured mine as 86 cm from plug to split point and then another 17 cm from split to left earphone. The right earphone is 50cm from split point so it can go round the back of your neck. They are not that long - may struggle if computer is on floor etc

Hello riker, hwz the overhall performance?would u recommed buying it?:santa:

I got my Sennhesisers at the weekend, tested them all week and while they do sound great, I can't see them lasting long. Very flimsy.
#26
Got mine a couple of days ago. To be honest, they sound worse than the ones that come with the Apple Ipod.

The bass seems overblown and it just lacks clarity IMO. Maybe it's just my personal preference....

I think it's a bit dear as I've seen a few websites that had cheaper earphones. I got mine for £8.99 at simplebuying.co.uk and well these earphones are great as they are original. I heard that some people who have bought off of ebay and amazon have actually got fakes and well it did happen to me when i bought it one off of ebay.

:^)
