I own this, bought for £14.99, so heat added for good deal on nice headphones:)

Play are offering these at £10.99 but they do have one of their market place seller offering them at £7.99 including p&p
#7
ignore market place, not genuine ones!

these earphones are great for the price, hot.
#8
Great headphones for the price. They get a 5 star rating in What Hifi too. I've had mine for years now, and they stack up well to the Grado's and other Senn's I have.

Completely agree. I bought some directly from Play and they are brilliant. Told a mate who when the cheaper route from market place and they were total copied crap.

Stick to play

My mistake. Sorry about that. For some reason Play are displaying marketplace options at that link - I didn't notice Play selling them for £10.99.

Good earphones at an excellent price.
#11
Interested in these but when's plays last ordering for Christmas delivery
#12
Damn fine price. Good little buds these. Can't go wrong for just over a tenner!

I'd buy the CX300-II headphones instead.

I have bought a number of these ones direct from play.com and amazon. The wiring and headphone jack on the CX300-II seems much better.

i picked those up for about £15.00 or some months ago. Unfortunately I can't find the same deal to post up, and Amazon are selling at cheapest for £28.00. So by my own admission thats not very much help!

Same here. Bought some CX400-II's from MyMemory, then some cheap CX400s from Play Market Place for comparison. the difference in quality is quite remarkable.

Good price but horrible earphones.

hot - just ordered a pair = thanks

If they're horrible how can it be a good price? Horrible suggests that they wouldn't be worth buying at all. The quality of these in comparison with other headphones around the £10-£20 mark is quite favorable.

Click here for the CX300 II's.

Just for those interested in the other model.

What is the difference between the CX300 & the CX300 II . Cheers \m/

FatRocker, the Mark II's are said to have generally better sound quality, and are more durable (In terms of cable and wire build).

The Mark II's are a renamed version of the CX400's (Although im not 100% sure about that.)

Funnily enough, I prefer the cx 300 originals, my mark 2 pair have a HUGE jack which is horrible, and the junction bit is bulky and feels flimsy. The sound in the left ear also sounds quieter than that of the right - perhaps this is to compensate for the inevitable when the right ear (the longer on the J cord) dims a bit (on my previous 4 pairs the right ear has gone completely after a year and a half - just in time to claim under the warrenty!!)

I cant tell any sound difference between the two either...

Blatantly so. And looking at the low prices on the marketplace I imagine they all are.

Thanks for this post, these are always good for a spare pair......ordered ......cheers.
#28
These any good?

Having used the CX300, CX400 and CX500, the CX400's are the best you can do, I've questions over the build quality of the CX500's, however it's volume control is handy.

Basically, good deal, great deal in fact, except spend the extra few quid and get the CX400's, it's so worth it.
#30
just paid £17 for these for my bro's christmas present.

II just baught a pair of CX300 II, was wondering about the warranty, how exactly does it work? Could someone explain the process to me of what happens/what I have to do if it breaks within the first year.

Thanks.
