I got a pair of these earphones at christmas and man alive the sound quality is mint. Complete blockage of background noise. I have tried mny headphones and earphones and none have lasted as long as these and the sound quality beats all models from audio companies, no, it blows other companies out of the water. They even come with a nice lisstle leather pouch. Ok bit gay but i guess you can claim that it's protecting your earphones. Whats more they look good, they're comfortable and come with three sizes.

btw packaging is a bit tedious but apparently eco-packaging - you'll find out what i mean when you get them

Lol, does it all come in a plastic bag?
#3
nope wrapped in a leaf, seriously though i've had both types of packaging and if you end up with the plastic packaging get your chain saw out!

Thanks been looking to replace my now shredded headphones.

Thanks been looking to replace my now shredded headphones.

If you manage to remove the headphones from the hard plastic packaging then you will have a second pair of shredded headphones to go with the ones you already have! :p

Thanks, went for this. Might want to mention that this also seems to come with a promotion...

decent price for a pair of good earphones. however they have an issue with durability. have heard many complaints of the cable falling apart quite easily from everyday use. good deal nonetheless. HOT!
#12

I can definitely recommend these CX300 II headphones - and they're much better build quality han the mark I's (which weren't amazing in build quality). Audio quality is amazing too!

Having used both types of packaging, the plastic packaging is horrendous to get into - it's challenging at best with scissors. The eco packaging is a bit weird, it's just sheets of cardboard with all the little bits it comes with (like the alternative eartips) sandwiched in between. It's easy to get open, but when you try to take the bits of cardbooard apart the bits all go flying everywhere (but I preferred the 'eco' packaging).

But yeah. Great headphones.

I've been through 3 or 4 pairs of the mark I headphones in the space of 2 years, using then in bed to listen to podcasts, and using them to listen to music on the way to school. The internal cabling broke very easily, at the connector and where they enter the earbud. I now own a pair of these Mark IIs, and have had them for a few months now - no complaints at all! The build quality feels better, they look nicer, and they're still going strong. They've addressed some problems with the Mark I's, the plug has had better booting put in to help prevent the cable breaking (and it doesn't look like it will for ages!), and there is improved booting where the cable enters the earbuds which definitely feels more solid than the Mark I's.

These are the Mark II's, so i don't think you'll have any problems. Besides, I reckon it's worth a pop at £14.

Voted Hot Thanks, I have ordered, though I don't seem to have my free £2 MP3 credit, does that come later?

I brought a pair of these a few weeks ago and haven't been able to use them as my ears are quite small and the smallest buds supplied are still too big. Gave then to friend who is very pleased with them. Now looking for a pair with smaller buds or a set of good over the ear headphones.

I must have been really lucky with my Mark 1s - I've had them a couple of years with no problems. I use them every day, and they've even gone through the washer on more than one occasion.

I'd recommend Sennheisers to anyone

Why do so many people say 'brought' instead of bought?
Anyway, these headphones are great for the money. My girlfriend got some from a Play trader once though and they were fake. I've also gotten a few pairs of fakes from eBay, so just beware. I think a lot of negative reviews for these headphones are from people who have fakes.

Just ordered the Sony MDR-EX76 In-Ear Headphones which seems a better deal through Play.com

I received the Sony ones a couple of weeks ago...my thoughts...
- The angled earbuds are great when wearing a hood up...I found that the CX300s would always pop out whenever I turned my head and the earbud brushed against the hood. Not so with the Sony ones...since they have an angle in them, a brush against the hood seems less likely to unseat them.
- The silicon bud has a hard silicon inner for connecting to the earphone, and results in the bud being less likely to come off. CX300 buds come off really easily, as they are comprised only of soft silicon.
- Comparable sound quality to the CX300s...not tried them "side-by-side", as I'd lost my 3rd pair of CX300s, but I'm personally very happy with the sound quality.
- Comes with a little winder for taking up excess cable length and also comes with a storage case...my last CX300s came with nada

Delighted with the Sony ones for a tenner!

I think most who do that actually think that's the word and also say it in real life. Its weird.

Bought some for the wife her old ones are getting a bit tatty now.

Bought this when it was posted a couple weeks ago. I like the fact that the size of the buds can be changed. It looks and sounds good so its worth it to buy.

The AKG K324P are basically the same earphones!
with a few tweeks.
They are made in the same place
both use the same drivers
around the same price as well!
however..
the AKG's some people say sound better.

i only have one problem with these. It seems to make a static sound and i've heard that it's apparently because i have an onboard sound card. So i tested it with my ipod and the static was gone. Other than that they sound amazing! :)

I went to uni with a guy who managed to get into second year at said uni before it was pointed out to him that the word he was writing 'iv' was in fact spelt 'if'. He had a Hertfordshire accent, that's how he pronounced it so that's how he spelt it, and nobody picked up on it due to his bad handwriting.

I hate it when people type one word when they should of typed another... :whistling:

Beware for future reference that if you buy them from ebay or amazon marketplace, they are not covered by sennheisers 2 year warranty, just bought these, good price, always enjoyed sennheisers (always have to check how to spell that!)

Are these any good for kids (age 7) or will they be too large and not stay in the ear?
