Manufacturer's Description:
Finding a decent-sounding sealed headphone is difficult, finding a budget sealed headphone that sounds great is almost impossible. The musical clarity and overall sonic punch of these headphones is extremely impressive. The HD 202s are lightweight but tough - great for keeping the children's video games/DVD watching/ loud music at bay. The perfect gift for all students!

Simple, Modular Design:
The HD202 are all-black in colour and use a very simple three-piece construction consisting of the two earcups and the headband assembly. The earcups attach via little ball-like protrusions that ride in a small groove within the headband; allowing you to make tiny adjustments to the fit for maximum comfort. This design also allows one to remove the earpieces from the headband for compact storage or travelling purposes or for easy replacement of parts.

The Clever Stuff:
The HD202 use a 'closed/sealed' design. They have mid-sized, circular leatherette earpads that nearly surround the ears, but are not quite large enough to prevent the flat part of the earpads from resting gently on the outside part of the earlobes. The result is headphones that have the desirable light weight and small size of an on-ear design, but have the secure fit and comfort of a larger model where the earpads encircle the ear.

I don't know hy people keep posting these. They are around that price all the time!

Try a search here for numerous threads. I bought my pair for just over £15 a while ago, so not a proper 'deal' IMHO..........

Don't forget that you will get 9 pence back via Quidco. You know you'd only be kicking yourself later...

I was looking at these only last week and they were showing on both sites at 24.99. Obviously a bit of price matching taking place.

i was about to book today, but good to see here, anyway good deal heat added.

If these are anything like the HD201s that they succeed I'd steer well clear.

The sound from those was too 'tinny' and the cable was un-necessarily long.

There's a vast diff with the 201. That's at least based on reviews fe multiple sites.

I have these head phones and I find them comfortable, and find the sound to be great. The 3m long cable will be something some folk don't like, but I like the option, and the h'phones come with a thing to wrap the excess cable up if you don't need it fully extended. (I understand they are this length for DJ's to wear so they can move to and from their decks). For the price here I don't think you can go wrong, I'd buy them again if I needed to.

:)

In fairness. the 201s aren't bad at all. And for me, the 201 cable wasn't long enough. Typical Sennhesier sound signature. Mine just died and I ordered the 202s (for 25 quid grr) whilst deciding if I will go full bore for the 360 Gaming Headset or Goldring NS1000 @ Play for 60 quid. (NS1000 need amping though) The 202 should be a great set of Headphones for the money. Gets positive views on Head-Fi anyway. At 118 quid, they are beer money and if you wanted a cheap pair of headphones I'd be surprised if you could be these at this price.

Good headphones but average price. Bought mine about 6 years ago for 15 quid at Amazon.

I guess after so many years we can still find this in the market means it should be a good headphones ;) Otherwise they would have discontinued it and replace with newer models name.

i had some HD 477s that look like these..the end of the cable at one of the headphones broke so the headphones dont work now. and replacement cables are expensive.. im still tempted to get these though as i think the cable which can be unplugged will work with my broken HD 477s.
so from my experience the cable easily break!

HD 202s are hardwired. You cannot unplug the cable from them.
