  I own these they are pretty good, the cable is on the left hand side as opposed to the right which is a little out the norm for earphones, they can be a little quiet on mp3/ players and phones and you really have to max out the volume. I tend to use them at home while reading and at the price above they are pretty good.
  
  As quadpatch they are on ear and not cupped over ear phones.

  I have these headphones too and agree with mogsog. No use for using on public transport with smartphone. They are just too quiet compared my Sennheiser in ears. Great for home use though. And great price too!

  if too quiet, you should invest into earphones amp. For example Fiio e5 or e6 like me ;)

  Absolute bargain for the price. I recentlty purchased the 238's which are £37 delivered from Amazon. The 238's are better but for this price you cannot go wrong. Major HEAT!
