If they're anything like as good as the HD202s they're worth it imo.

I just bought the HD202 closed headphones for £17.99

closed / open headphones makes a big difference from my limited research....

open headphones let the sound filter to and from the outside world..... so not so good if your using while commuting but they do give a better listening experience so good for listening at home...

BTW i believe the best budget headphones are the Seinheiser PX100 headphones but they cost c. £35...apparently a lot of fakes so be careful where you buy from. Link to reviews on Amazon below.

There is a review on play.com regarding the comparison of these headphones to HD202. In short, HD202 seem to be superior.

Bare in minds if you get to listen to them in a quiet room open will sound better due to less resonation (correct me if I'm wrong), for commuting I'd use closed to not **** anyone off :)

The Sennheiser HD202 has a 3m cord, the HD 407 has 1.4m cable and is optimized sonically for iPods.
#8
Ordered some hd202's instead based on a few reviews

#12
so tempted...have some heat!
#13
These any good for a plane journey ?
#14
Closed-back, so i think so
#15
mine arrived yesterday, and they sound great through my iPhone.
My only gripe is that it only has the smaller jack plug and no adaptor is supplied.
#16
How big are they? My current headphones fall off my head easily, it's why I want to replace them.. Are they adjustable to small?
#17
Hmm, this is still going??

Going by the pic, this looks like it sits on the ear rather than around the ear
