Yes but I bet the price goes up too. Remember the £ is very weak at the moment. Still I wouldn't be complaining for 20p

Nice find, Hot!. Don't vote cold because they cost a lot of money...

I have a set of the HD580's and love them, well worth the money if you want decent sound quality.

I was looking at these last week. Settled on the HD595s from Amazon for £93, as I suspect they provide 99% of the performance for nearly 50% of the price. I also bought the HD201s for my son to use on his PSP, and was really impressed considering they were only a tenner.

Actually you'd be surprised at the difference the HD 650 have and extra 3dB peak on the HD 595. For those that don't know every 3dB is a doubling of power as it's on the logarithmic scale.

 hard to drive, only at there best with a quality valve headphone amp

Db Basics
Turning something up by 3 db will double the signals level. However doubling the signal level wont increase the perceived loudness (ie by you and me) as much as you might think.
As a general rule of thumb a 10 times increase in signal level, will result in a doubing in perceived loudness.
