I've got some of these which I use on my PC for late night gaming (TF2). They are quite comfortable (they don't press on my ears!) with a decent sound for budget cans.
As they are closed headphones the one problem I have with them is hearing my own voice volume level when using voices comms.

Fantastic buy for £12.99 !

Hot product and hot price, but with any electronics I would buy Amazon.

Play is a reputed seller. I have purchased many items from them and they are really helpful if there are any issues.

Very nice, comfy and suitable for someone with glasses and a big head like myself :) Quite a long cord but I just tie it up.

how long is the wire on these, just bought some wireless 1's from play like and not tried them, just wondering if these have long wire cos im sure wired will be better quality than wireless

I have these. I find that I get a bit warm after listening for around 30 minutes. They are ok for the money but my old Panasonic ones were better. As a result I rarely use them. Looking to spend a bit more to get something decent soon.

u get a bit warm? Do you mean ur ears start sweating after having them on for more than 30min?

I bought these to use with the computer as Im forced to have the PC in the front room so compete with the TV. Fantastic sound quality and I find them very comfortable.

For the price, unbeatable.

I was too lazy to measure the cord for durhamlad so googled it (3m) and also found a review if anyone wants to see: http://www.dvhardware.net/review84_sennheiserhd201.html

Nice price. Just FYI, the HD 435's are still around in some Tesco's. They were £8.50, but now scan at...1p! :-p

I'm going to be unpopular here, but I bought these cans the last time they were around a tenner and they're terrible!

I'm no Bose buying audiophile, but these budget headphones are no better than my cheapo tatty old pair of Panasonics which I bought yeeears ago. Some say they feel "light", but I say they feel cheap, and they sound cheap.

Don't get me wrong, if you don't often use headphones then you won't suddenly think "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS GARBAGE?" when you turn them on, but to anyone with a half decent system, these headphones will sound depressingly tinny and rubbish. They have no bass at all.

A good pair of headphones will make your music sound better than ever, but these things don't. They're probably worth a tenner, but it's not worth spending a tenner on them imo, if that makes any sense! Maybe for very occasional use when it's late and you don't want to wake people..

I'm not trying to be an ****, just speaking from experience; I sent mine back and bought some proper headphones. cue angry disagreement.

Play USED to be reputable, but since the quantum mistake of blowing customers off to the manufacturer after 28 days, they can go fish....

(Edited to remove swear words ! :whistling:)

I've got a pair of HD202's. The bass REALLY comes out of these. The cord is very long.
2 years on and still working fine.

There's no such thing as a "Bose-buying Audiophile", Audiophiles know to steer clear of overpriced Bose rubbish

Agree with you on the bass, though if you're spending £10 on headphones I reckon they're perfectly adequate.
