  I've had the HD 228 for years now and it is no where near as good as any Beats headphones. So that isn't really a point to be made.
  
  However, it is good value for money. Although not this listing in particular.

  No not really, you took the conversation to a different route by adding 'Also' and something along the lines of - if people think that ANY Sennheisers are better than the most expensive beats, then they are deluded.

  I love it when people get very personal over headphones lol... It's a matter of choice guys surely... I personally have some Audio Technicas which for me are bang on the buck. I like posting these type of deals to see the Beats haters and yes sometimes lovers have their say. The point I'm trying to make is for most, although not all, Beats are mainly fashion conscious and I believe these to be a decent alternative for a much lower price.. That's all

  My limit is £50 for headphones but for £150, the V-Modas would be my premium choice

  I have the Adidas version of these headphones, extremely light headphones but durable. Good sound isolation, but need some burn in time until the bass is at its best and the tweeters have adjusted. Well worth getting if you like to run or like to wear headphones while walking around a city or whatever, as they dont get uncomfortable as they're so light.
  
  Also, no Beats by Dre headphones can compare with these, Sennheiser best DJ or portable headphone, and probably the best in the world, when you pair it with a proper amp:
