A Google pricespan of £15 - £49 is an absolute joke , no wonder retailers are losing business when they try to charge too much .

Great spot by the way , just ordered a set .

Yeah wouldn't work for music, only use for speech. Has a micro built in music to speech convertor. Turns all music to spoken word :whistling:

"Cable length 0,8m + 5,2m".

Does it mean it comes with a 0.8m cable and a 5.2m extension ?.

That's right, these are special headphones which are only compatible with TV sets. There's a special circuit board which cuts out the sound (high pass filter) if you try to connect these to e.g. an iPod.

Why do people give stupid responses???

These are optimised for TV sound, i.e. speech. They have their own volume control (left and right channels) and a 5.2m cable extension so you can sit on the sofa while watching the TV. There are Sennheiser headphones designed for playing music for a similar price (e.g., PX100).

The RRP is £49.99.

sorry, but ask a stupid question... of course they will be fine for any audio application whatsoever. the "TV" designation is merely marketing hype to try and get ppl to buy eg. a 2nd pair just for watching TV, when any normal pair will do. I highly doubt there's any sound difference or different processing going on. It's callled market sementation, a way to make ppl think they're getting something special. the only real customisation i can see is the extra-long cord - you can buy this sort of thing from a poundshop easy enough too and all of a sudden your standard pair of cans are magically "TV-ready"! :p

yes the price is good, but they are not really "special tv headphones". just thought that was funny and thought i might take the ****... you know... shits 'n' giggles... nevermind. i take it all back! mea culpa.

Maybe it was a pricing mistake. £14.99 did seem very cheap, especially compared to other rretailers.
