Bought a pair of these last years from play, also a sale price (don't think they were ever 25 quid)
just a warning they are horrible, bright lime green, they don't stay in your ears and the wrap around part is suitable for people with extremely large heads as they don't sit right in any position, just my 2 cents worth, people have their own taste :)

She does not seem to have huge head though :p

pmx70 are excellent for gym, though i think there is now a new model

I have a medium sized head and I have a pair of these. They are pretty good and have been out in the rain and still work.

Excellent price and recommended.

I would change avatar to a mid sized head ;-)

Looks like you either need a fairly chunky head or a huge barnet otherwise you may get them standing slightly proud. The lime green is truly eye catching - are they a fashion statement or summat?
#9
Good if you want badly designed lime green earphones.

I have literally just bought the lx90 for a tenner at currys for running in. They look to be just the normal colour version of these (see take a look).

I used to only use the green lx80's (the wrap around ones) as they were so comfortable. But as I've just broken my 4th pair, I thought i'd try and get something else (plus they didn't have any of them in the shop).

For those of you confused around the size, shape of these, or perhaps the reviews on play, here's my verdict.

They look weird, I mean really weird!! I spent 5 minutes in the shop trying to work out if i'd look like an idiot with them on. Also the bit that goes in your ears looks fairly chunky, and i have smaller ear holes (think there must be a medical name for this) and have always had trouble. I hate having to put the earphone back in my ear whilst out running.

Well, they sit around the crown, or slightly above/below, and are comfortable in either position, and they don't budge, at all! The earbud doesn't hurt the ear, as it sits on it (not inside). They are so light and after the first 2-3 minutes I couldn't feel them.

I've been using the green seinheisers for ages and the green colour is fine! Who gives a poop what other people think in the gym, it's not a fashion show!

Finally the only bad point about these are the sound. It isn't a very punchy sound. I could hear the traffic, which is always good while running around, but the music lacked bass and punch.

Hope it helps someone, but at this price, its a really good deal (wish i'd have seen it earlier)

I wear mine for running and think they are brilliant. Maybe got slightly sore in one ear after 2 hours of running but other things ached more by that point. I think it is a good point that you can hear the traffic. I think they are designed so that you can.

If you don't like the colour then don't buy them. They are not for you.

p.s. i have a pretty small head, well, compared to most?! Loved the comment, but these were ok for me. I would have said the other way round, that these would be rubbish for people with ridiculously oversized heads! :-)
#13
I bought these (£20 from a local running shop) and they are excellent. Have never moved or slipped out once since I bought them. My only gripe is no inline volume control, but other than that they are fantastic.

Would highly recomment them

I've been 'iffing and butting' about buying some of these for ages, just the price put me off, so just ordered 2 pairs at this price! I'm not worried at all for several reasons:
1) I've got a massive head
2) I struggle to run for more than half an hour, so no worries about my ears getting sore after 2 hours
3) I look rediculous when I'm running anyway, so I'm not worried about the colour

WEYHEY...BARGAIN nice spot!!

Maybe it's just she has thick hair then :whistling::w00t:

That was just my opinion though, everyone has their own taste

Please don't buy this unles you have above-average sized earholes. This did not even go into my ears....let alone being comfortable :)

I don't think they're supposed to go in your ears fully but just rest on your ear holes. I wouldn't be able to wear these if i pushed them into my ear canal! That would just hurt!
#18
I like others bought these at the last sale price (which I think was £7.99)

They are horrible. I find them uncomfortable to wear, and the sound not as good as the CX300's (from the same brand)

Just my opinion, I know there are plenty of good reviews for these out there. But personally, I wouldn't pay over a fiver for them.

Not voting either way. If I didn't have them, I would have bought them at this price and voted hot, lol
#19
same here, bought them last year and though not uncomfortable to wear the sound is very weak even at the highest volume.I prefer my old px70's,
#20
not even worth 6 quid. bought these for a tenner 6 months ago and they are terrible. Bright green and look ridiculous not to mention that they feel funny in your ears... you would not want to wear these to a gym..
#21
i bought someof these the last time they were £6.99 on amazon - they don't fit in your ears, hurt after about 10 minutes and have rubbish sound quality

The wrap around design is a good idea but the bits that go in your ears are just not shaped right

avoid - even at this price
#22
better than Shure E2C's?
#23
A resounding credit crunching loss of £6.49 which could feed you, your OH and/or your children). Batten down the hatches and try not to buy nonsensical items!

Yep, I have a large head and these just don't fit well at all and are really painful in the ears:x
#25
I have these. They do stay in your ears when you're running, but the problem with them is the sound quality when they are being held in your ears by the band - a distinct lack of bass IMHO. It's frustrating because if you push them into your ears a bit (and hold them in!), the quality is actually quite good. I wouldn't spend £6.50 on them again.

I've just bought Altec Lansing UHP307 In-Ear Earclip Sports Headphones from Play for £7.99 (reduced from £29.99 RRP) and they are a much better bet - much better sound quality IMO.
#26
I must have strange shaped ears as every single pair of in ear headphones I buy fall out when I go running, very annoying and judging by what people have said about these then these don't look much of a better bet.
#27
I recommend Sennheiser as a company, I've had lots of headphones and earphones and I have some Sennheiser in-ear (noise reduction) and I couldn't be happier.

But I can't really vouch for these.

looks all gone now :-(

£19.99 now - expired

i bought a pair of these, a while back, & as they're designed to coil back into shape, that's exactly what they do. unfortunately, they had a tendency to pop out of my ears, whilst in the most inopportune moments, such as a packed tube train, or walking up the steps at the station (whilst carrying a heavy suitcase, i might add!)

they sound great, but were just too impractical, due to their random recoiling.
#31
In my experience they're unfortunately just a waste of money.

Had more than one type of sports headphone from sennheiser and they've both been very poor, friend has had same experience.

In fact the best headphones I've had were some fairly low priced Sony ones.
