Come on that's a bit harsh. There's ten-pence off the retail price of the other colours.8)

Don't forget pink if that's more your style :p

OP would be better off stating the colours as these are cheaper for a reason

@powerbrick - Subjective. Didn't you know pink is the new black? (_;) Personally I think the green ones look pretty good.

Call me old fashion but black is the new black for me :{

The green is very fetching though and well worth the saving

somehow I think you are talking billy bull, or is your real name Timmy Mallet? In which case you could probably get away with these garish colours on offer :p

(Oh and yes they are part fashion accessory, otherwise why bother with more than one colour)

This green is quite understated - if you think that's bad check out some of the "Quincy Jones" lime green AKG Q460 that I got as it was a really good price - if you use them at home it's OK?

http://www.amazon.co.uk/AKG-Q460-Signature-Performance-Headphones/dp/B004444O5A/

It's the same hardware after all whatever the colour - why pay 2x the cost just for a different colour?

Something never said by people who buy Beats...

I care about both! I've I'm gonna be sat on the tube for two hours a day with a constant stream of fitties sitting opposite me I want something that matches outfit and makes me look fabulous darling.

Heard the Over-the-Ear ones and they sound amazing. I have no idea how good the on-ear ones sound... might let in too much outside noise but on-ear headphones tend to be much better at keeping temps down (let's just say if it's cold, over-the-ear are awesome, otherwise you're sweating to the oldies). X)

Listened to a set of these in Currys when I was in the market for some, amaaaaaaazing sound quality, n they seemed to do the job of blocking out the screaming kids and store announcements. Only thing I did notice wss the volume a lil low, but that might have been due to me playing from phone, or they just might have been used n abuse in store.

I would snap a pair now, but as stated...colours on offer are abit manky.

Voting hot all the same ;)

Insane offer!
#16
Are these really as good as their price, or are they priced based on aesthetic and name?
#17
I'd love to upgrade to these... Great price
I've found that sennys are a bit quiet compared to other brands where my phones are concerned.
#18
Saw this and immediately thought it was the over-ear ones, oh well. Anyway, it's still a good price if you have been after a set of these.
#19
Are you sure it's the on-ear version that's £240 at HMV?? That's roughly the price of the over-ear version
#20
Paid full whack for the over ear ones when they came out and they're amazing but for 110 notes these are a dream!

Silly price, cold from me.

In your opinion. I however really like the colour choices, I'm glad they're not garish Christmas light colours.

no, not my opinion, the markets, those colours are not selling, hence they have to reduce the price.

Righto... Found a better price then?
#25
what is their such a price difference between on-ear vs over-ear?
#26
how about for use with gaming....easy enough to attach a mic to them? :)
#27
Good price for some very good sounding headphones. Personally, I prefer over-ear, so these aren't for me. That and that I've already bought one set today, with the (now vanished) sub £100 deal on the AKG Q701 (I think this is the link https://t.co/wIlnMfwcZp )

Generally the on-ears sound worse than the over-ears.
Check out any review of the on-ears and you should see a similar concensus.

Yep - for me, ideally, it's over ear open back headphones that sound best, and for going out, a closed back set.

The other part is that I find over ear much more comfortable - your ears don't get squished.

Wanted these for ages, tried them out and was very disappointed. Audio technica m50s much better
