The PXC 250 is a pair of closed, dynamic, supra-aural stereo mini headphones with NoiseGard active noise compensation. Due to their active and passive attenuation of ambient noise, they let you enjoy music even in noisy environments. The headphones are foldable and come with a convenient belt pouch, making them an ideal travel companion.

I have a pair of these and they are very good at cancelling out sound where there is a lot of background noise e.g. plane or train. They are also very good for regular playback. I paid over £65 at Amazon so I think that this is a bargain!

I have a pair of the PXC300's which are very similar to these headphones. They are very good headphones and I can recommend them for use in noisy environments such as with office or machinery background noise. They won't stop all noise though, and I found them particularly ineffective when seated in a propeller driven budget aircraft where the noise just couldn't be beaten.
They are also good headphones away from noisy surroundings though which makes the suitable for general use too.
