I have these - they are excellent. So lightweight but pack a very good sound. Easily portable but I use them with my laptop.

H&R. Without question the best small headphones of all time. Buy them and realise what you've not been listening to.

fantatic headphones picked them up at this price last time round

Excellent headphoned, alternatives would be koss portapro, same price from play. I have both, personally I prefer the sound of the Koss, but theres not much in it, Koss have slighter more bass, and are a tighter fit for sports. They do hover look very 80's and that puts a lot of people off. This is a great price for a great set of headphones. These and the koss are the best sound your gonna get anywhere near this price and you would have to spend a serious amount of money to get any better sounding open back cans. IMHO

cracking headphones for the price. had mine for 3 years now

I've been searching for weeks for this headphone and all the lowest price places have been out of stock. This is an amazing bargain for highly regarded headphones.

Total bargain, I own two pairs, great find OP

Great headphones.

Had two pairs of these headphones. Fantastic value for money have a great sound. Think I am gonna order some because I broke the other two pairs by entirely my fault. Trapping the cable in between the two panes of glass on my desk lol.

Anyone who has these say whether they would be too big for kid of 5? Looking for some over ear phones so both my lads can watch movies on an itouch on the plane.
#13
I agree with the positive comments in general (have these, and am using them now:D)
A friend of mine is looking for phones atm, so great timing:)
#14
They have gone up to £29.99 as far as I can see
#15
yep missed em seem to have gone up never mind nice spot .

Replacing the earpads on these things costs almost 17.99 :P Not quite prepared to buy another set yet.
#17
Worth the 29.99 in my opinion, excellent headphones.

if they have gone back up, and you need some decent phones, buy the koss portapro for 17:99 from play. Read the amazon reviews. Theres a thread on here somewhere. I prefer em anyway.

good headphones but paid around £17 for them three years ago from amazon

My replacement pads cost £4.53 (delivered) from the obvious auction site just under a year ago and have proved to be just fine. The originals lasted 6 years with daily use.

I now also have the Koss PortaPro (recent deal on HUKD) and have a slight preference for their sound but the PX-100 are physically "smoother" and fit under my woolly hat or hood without snagging when out dog-walking. No headwear = Koss; with headwear = PX-100. The lead on the latter is a bit gnarly and worn-through in one place so may not last too much longer

DJ Fryer: both are of the "open" type so excessive volume will annoy other plane passengers. Try to grab seats in front of the engines so the ambient noise level is lower and keep the volume down - that would also be better for their hearing. You'll need a splitter if trying to run two headsets from one device and that may lead to arguments over the volume level so having a headset with an in-line volume control would allow the kid who wants it quieter to turn down his/her headset. However much money you throw at a five-year-old, you'll still have a troublesome five-year-old.

Sennheiser are good headphones too, all the BBC staff use them.

I got a pair for £15, very impressed by their build quality and sound quality!
