Been searching ages for some good RS series headphones at a decent price. Not so sure if this is the best price for these but its the lowest that I can find. On the Sennheiser website these are still listed at around £185 when I checked.

If anyone knows these are going to drop more or if they can get them cheaper then please do let us know :)

*Update*

I also seen these RS 185
https://www.amazon.es/Sennheiser-RS-185-Auriculares-integrado/dp/B00STNU2VW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1480267769&sr=8-1&keywords=Sennheiser+RS+185

works out at about £219 delivered both from Amazon Spain (ES) and Amazon Germany (DE).
I am considering these as they are optical and its cheaper than Amazon UK where it is available for £269.99.

Does anyone here own any one of these? any recommendations or advice?

Good find

Bought a pair of RS170's over 3 years ago for £150 and they're still going strong. The ear cups wore out a little while back but compatible ones are available for very cheap on ebay.
I'm very tempted to grab one of these.

I seen the rs 170 too, was thinking about it but its discontinued though and its like 4 years old and they are still asking a good bit for it. Found one on amazon, think its around 130 or something cant remember now.
If it was a lower price then I would go for it.

Btw you can buy cup spares etc? I've seen them on amazon when I was searching for these headphones and noticed they had quite a few new spare parts listings.

I'd certainly go for one of these over tracking down some old 170's.

I've placed my order. Not in a rush for them so not too fussed when they turn up but knowing Amazon they'll jack the price up once they receive stock so may as well get my order in.

Go for them, you won't be disappointed.

Is it worth going for the rs 185 with the optical connection tho?

I'm not sure. Probably best to check out some reviews. Is the optical port the only difference?

pretty much that is main reason, not checked how it differs otherwise might just be a couple features or something else added or changed. Optical is the only reason though but I've got a feeling you or others might say that its not worth paying extra for it.
