Actually, the specs on the screens that actually arrive tend to be higher than advertised by ebuyer.

I've bought 3 sense TV's from them, and every one of them has had higher contrast ratio and brightness than was advertised.
I've seen reviews from other people saying the same thing, so that makes it an even better deal.

I was going to post this deal earlier, but I felt like being lazy today.

H&R added.

I'm seriously tempted between this and this on play:

http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/3435709/Samsung-19-LE19R86BDX-Freeview-HD-Ready-LCD-TV/Product.html

even with 5% discount on and quidco, theres still around a £50 difference....hmm.

Would you notice the contrast ratio difference at this size though? . . .
#10
i know what you're saying, but it's not just the contrast ratio...it just 'looks' classier and is from one of the big names. I'm torn.
#11
Bargain, pity I am broke, could do with this in the family room for the wii.....heat added

Think the Sense is an LG panel, if the 42" is anything to go by . . . . . nip to comet, with a travel hairdryer, heat up a samsung badge till the glue gives way, take it home, bit of no more nails, bish, bash ,bosh, Samsung TV. :whistling:

Hey this TV is perfect except I was after a 22" for under £200 for my xbox 360! The budget started at around £100 but I am not gona get a 22" for that!

any1 know where else to look?

I looked at ebuyer, argos, play, and the high street electric stores i.e. currys but nothing really catches my eye

thanks in advance!

HEAT ADDED, what a good deal this is!

I have this TV at home, but without the dvd player, nice looking TV.....not the best freeview reciever though.

My old CRT & Freeview box used to pick up all the channels, now this TV only gets some, even tried with an aerial booster, still dodgy bbc.

But if i plug in my freeview box its fine.

Just a wee warning, apart from that the set is great.

Get a 22"" TFT monitor, xbox should have VGA. Try scan.co.uk

oooh this one:

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/productinfo.asp?WebProductID=807441

Actual price is £144 on today only I think.

AG Neovo is best company for monitors I've got one and never broken down in 3 years and I use it ALL the time!

This TV at scan looks better and it's £163- no digital TV tuner but Sense one is not good according to reviews

i cant believe no one has mentioned the poor reviews about sound on this set :(

I also found the sound to be a bit tinny but luckily i had some old PC speakers lying around to plug in and this made the sound perfect.

Picture very good, digital is supper!! needed a bit of tweaking it was right. As did the sound which is tinny but has base and treble adjustment which does make it much better.

For a standalone tv id expect sound to be good or at least ok as otherwise u need some extra speakers I was torn between this and the sammy on play.com but i think play gets my vote due to speakers on this model pitty!!!!!
#35
Dose this TV have mains power off rather than standby?!

For a price difference of £70 I'd rather buy the Sense one and get some Creative speakers from scan for £25.

your not really comparing them properly are you?:p

the fact is ur not as youd have to have something seperate? so why bother having a freeview box inbuilt? why bother having hd????

get my picture?

ordered yesterday will post pics tonight :)

Just a word of warning that this TV, like most 19" monitors, displays pictures in 16:10 rather than 16:9. That means that the TV picture is very slightly stretched and will make objects look thinner. This won't bother most people but it bothered me when I bought a 19" so I thought I'd let you know.
