fantastic price :) btw check if this is digital 'cos i'm not sure if it is. not a problem if youve got a freeview box though

500:1 contrast ratio is pretty poor

Just ordered one, heat and rep added. I also ordered the wall mount (quickfind # 130795) for 15. Hope they work together.

stezo2k, the product headline says freeview and the symbols included a Digital tick mark. I would think it must have a digital freeview.

I found good reviews for this tv as well.

yeah, its pretty poor for movies, but i'd be ok for watching TV & some console gaming.

my 26"HDTV is 850:1 & it looks fine with anything i throw at it - the blacks dont looks incredibly black, but its still great for MKV's, BD, PS3 & XBOX 360

^ bought it for £330 2years ago, so it was budget then, but still works great :)

Bought this for my daughters room in February this year for £199.99 and it's great so at this price it's a steal!!! :gift:

Great price!

I imagine the quality will be very poor.
My Samsung 940MW is same size and tv quality on it was terrible. Strange resolution for TV.
Would be better for a console or pc

Does it suffer from lipsync problems on freeview like some of the other Sense models?

I've got 3 Samsung 19" models in the kids bedrooms , TV quality is superb . Don't forget this is a TV , not a monitor as you quote .

Just had a look at the reviews on the Ebuyer site... & they look pretty good for a freeview TV thats under £120!
I've just oredere one for the boys room... & it seems as though they have 25 left!
Cheers

With a 16x10 aspect ratio and pc resolution I would say its more a monitor than a tv.

Yes it's got built in freeview

Not bad but there are better TV's for around the same price, IMO 500:1 is criminal these days.

The specs are incorrect

Is it just me or do kids get spoilt these days?
I never got TV's or consoles in my room when I was a kid, and that wasn't long ago!

how can it be hd ready if it's not 1900-1200 ?

Because HD Ready means it can display at least 720p - which requires a resolution of just 1280x720 (or greater...)

Now £129.99 but still a good deal

Mine arrived yesterday. I am very happy with the set. The picture quality is very good. I played few DVDs from my DVD player. Its not too far from my Sony 1080p 40" TV (I bought it for £900 in May-08).

Only problem is, when I scan for new channels in DVB mode, it cant find any channel at all. Checked on the digital uk website with my post code BS32 9AD and they mentioned 49 channels available with good reception. But I am not sure about my aerial, as I have never tried it in this house.

Any help will be appreciated.
