Its an old Samsung panel that they no longer use contrast at 800:1 is just unheard from the good brands now. Good price but if I was buying think this is worth the extra £20 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Toshiba-32AV615DB-32-inch-Widescreen-Freeview/dp/tech-data/B0020HR6QM/ref=de_a_smtd

Hi
Thanks for posting. And welcome to HUKD.
It is good practice to also add the merchant and price to the title. It helps people who are just browsing through. And in my experience your post will get a few more “hot” votes.
Emmajk42 wrote a couple of very comprehensive and excellent guide for newcomers to HUKD here: - http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/145906/newcomers-advice-on-hotukdeals-gene/

They are well worth taking a look at.
Again, thanks for posting, and welcome to HUKD.

i wouldn't recommend this, as the other poster pointed out its a very old panel. you can pick up a current gen samsung Samsung LE32B4 for around 300 to 330. currently 318 at amazon. got one for 299 at john lewis with 5 year warrenty. if this was 200 - 240 then maybe it would be a bargain, but if you can get the real deal for 20-40 quid more, wouldn't you go for a brand?

saying 'samsung panel' means nothing, certainly gives no indication of what the pic quality will be like
