Despite being a non-major brand, this TV seems to get really good reviews. Was posted a few weeks back at £499 - now £20 cheaper! :)

If you say its cold please can you let me know why? If this sets a lemon or cheaper elsewhere I'd like to know before I am tempted to spend nearly £500 on it!

Cant get it cheaper now,but a few weeks ago it was £399 at ebuyer so hopefully it will go back to that, as I am tempted to :)

£399 would swing it for me also.

Why would you buy this cheap & nasty lcd when you can get a 42" Panasonic plasma for £500? Brrrrrrr.

Because I want 1080p and will be using it for console gaming quite a bit as well as TV.
( If I'm making the wrong assumption about the one you mention being 1080p, then please post a link!)

No its not 1080p its 768p but i guarantee it will look better than this. Pixels aren't everything.

This has got a lot of 5 star reviews, some even equating it to a Samsung panel.

They all come from the same 3 odd factorys in China anyway.

Was this really £399? I can only find a post from a couple of weeks ago which has it at £499.

I would definitely get it for under £400.

This TV has never been £399, the previous cheapest was £499. I own it and it's a great tv, whoever said it isn't 1080p is lying. It accepts (and displays, doesn't downscale) a 1080p signal through HDMI and YPbPr (though strangely not through VGA). The only fault with it is that the contrast ratio isn't great. Good TV, great price and comparable to my mums Samsung.

I have an xbox, PS3 and both look stunning in 1080p. Sky HD looks great in 1080i.
