I am sick to the back teeth of every female clothing post that has anything above a size 14 included in it, being immediately pounced on by men simply to make nasty comments.

This is NOT about saying you "prefer" slimmer women. That is NOT the topic of the thread, its about a deal on a dress. The moderators/owners need to urgently do something about this situation, its not difficult to make a rule that threads have to remain at least vaguely on topic.

These posts need to be deleted before this entire site sinks completely into the sexist quagmire that it is rapidly becoming. Hundreds of hot votes and hardly a post by a woman on every cheap nasty, overpriced piece of "lingerie" by sex sites along with early 70s style sexist puerile comments is another example.

*Now waiting for all the "youre obviously fat.. bitter... chip on your shoulder...etc etc" pathetic comments*

gawd sake this is a deal about a wedding dress....not your opinions about overweight people or how gorgeous your partner is.....pathetic....

Well said

Back on topic,i love the dress it's fab:)

I think the dress is fab for a low key wedding.
for the record before having my son I was a size 6 and a lot of the male attention was from perverts who wanted me to pretend I was a schoolgirl!
now I am a bigger size I have a visible pair of boobs(as oppossed to nipples on a rib cage) the male attention I get is from a better class of bloke.
obviously my hubbie liked me for who I was not what dress size I was.

I have tidied up this thread and removed 'off topic' ans some very rude posts.

Any further off topic / rude posts or posts not relating to this deal be deleted, and may ultimately face infractions.

What have I missed? My message was deleted in reply to a stupid comment made by a male. Heat added for the dress by the way - great find!

Indeed - I agree with everything you've said  This dress would've been perfect when I got married last year. I got married in a registary office as it was about the love NOT wasting a stupid amount of money (and got a ridiculously cheap dress which was gorgeous and classy from ebay)...that's another story for another time.

Going off topic slightly I know (and I apologise millarcat), but can I just say to all you larger ladies ignore the ones who make digs not all men are the same I actually prefer larger women, I love soft fleshy and (to me) sexy curves. I've never dated anyone below a 16 :-D

The dress is gorgeous BTW and if it was available in a size 20 it might make me consider marrying my own gorgeous BBW!!!

plwest, get an 18 and have it adjusted to fit, it will in effect be 'made to measure' then! A reputable dressmaker should be able to do it for a very reasonable price

If a man is XL in rugby shirt size, what size would one order to be able to fit into this?

I have a stag do coming up.
#28
Hi, ignorant man posting. How many sizes down would you recommend not exceeding if one was to buy a larger than required dress? In my friends case, slim 10-12

Cheers

Go well with the £999 wedding package from Holiday Inn

Are you for real???? If so, assuming youre about 44 chest, youd need one at least size 22. So, you're too big for any of these.

Wish the nasty comments had been left... give the poster their moment of shame.

End of the day - no-one looks at the price tag on the wedding day .. so who cares if it costs £55 or a hell of a lot more as long as the person getting married has a great day.

Too true!

This is a really pretty dress!! Fantastic price too.

Bumped into a guy I know on the bus today... he was on his way to his girlfriends fathers house to ask for her hand in marriage... complete with the ring to show her Dad! He's 24. So sweet that he's doing that... I've been in a lovey mood since hehe. My turn next I hope after all I'm 28!! Everyone else is getting engaged/married etc it seems... Don't think this dress would suit me though as gorgeous as it is.
Look at me getting carried away... ah well a gal can dream!!

Heat for you on this great find!!

(PS. agree bout the sexist comments on such threads! needs to end boys!)
