True story.
In my local Tesco, there were only sealed cases of this on the shelf, and the ticket read reduced 20p, with no volume indication. I thought "no, can't be" and scanned the bar code on the case with my Tesco hand scanner and, sure enough, it came up as 20p. I grabbed the 2 cases real quick, paid and left, chuffed to bits with a real bargain.

Next week it became clear that staff simply hadn't opened the cases and the case bar code was the same as the single item.

So a REAL bargain was had, although I will maintain I genuinely thought Tesco were just clearing the shelves.
