Do all solar lights require batteries? Doesn't that kind of go against the point of them being solar lights....or am i being a total airhead? :?

The panels convert solar energy to electrical energy and where does the electrical energy go ?? It charges batteries for later use. :)

All the energy received during the day has to be stored somewhere doesn't it? (hint: batteries) :)

I got them yesterday, and they are very attractive. They throw out an ambient white light which makes a pleasant change from the 'dirty' yellow light that most cheap solar garden lights give out. I prefer white LED light to yellow 'artificial' light. It has that clean daylight feel to it.
A pleasing purchase :)
